    High Commissioner addresses reception hosted in honor Pakistani origins British MPs.

    Pakistani High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Syed Ibne Abbas has reiterated government resolve to further strengthen Pakistan-UK ties and working for the welfare of over 1.2 million Pakistani community in UK.

    He was addressing a reception hosted in the honor Pakistani origins British Parliamentarians, including lords and newly elected MPs in London.

    Syed Ibne Abbas welcomed the Parliamentarians, exchanged views on different issues pertaining to the Pakistani nationals living in the UK and Pak-UK bilateral relations, with a special focus on enhancing trade ties between the two countries in post Brexit scenario.

    Pakistani High Commissioner also briefed them on the High Commission's efforts in connection with renewed cultural diplomacy initiatives regarding the 70th Independence Day Anniversary of Pakistan and the 70 years of establishment of Pakistan-UK diplomatic ties.
