A lot has been written about dark side of MK Gandhi. He is liked in west because of his philosophy of non violence and also how he tried to unification/coexistence of Muslims and Hindus.

Gandhi was a racist but most of all he was a pedophile sexually exploiting his nieces. He was a man of repulsive mindset through and through -- and as you can see his mindset with current day Indians are the same. To honor him, is a insult to those he molested.

Only reason as others have mentioned Gandhi is taught in the West is due to his non-violence mantra because the West likes those who bend the knee and he was picture perfect for that, nothing else, the man had no redeeming quality.

he was a hard core racists.

Fact - do you know he is the one behind our tri-cameral parliament concept during aparthied.

Whites- seperate chamber - #1.
Indians- #2
Coloureds/Malay - #3.

Africans non-existent.

He pushed the narratives that indians were more intelligent than the kaffirs - his own words.

We have been pushing to get his statues removed from university campuses across this continent. In Ghana, we succeeded.
I know, he was a scum, he sexually abused his own niece. And a raging racist. It's good the world is coming to know of his crimes, I'm grateful for it.
Its definitely an insult for us to bunch jinnah with him..both were born in same era in British raj and brought up in british institutions yet jinnah went against British plan for a single united india.. his struggle went on till1946 direct action day riots after which Brits gave up and decided a partition in the roadmap.
I'm not bunching them together, however they were both raised by the same system, spoke the same language(s) were both working in the field of Law.... Gandhi used to oppose the British as well, he was jailed for it too. Quaid was undoubtedly the better of the two, and he never tried becoming something he was not, unlike Gandhi who strutted around half naked as a cheap publicity stunt.

you know i did not know much about him until i went to Durban. I was visiting Mr Deedat and spent a day with him. During that period, i learnt a lot; he introduced me to a few elderly folks in his neighbourhood who still were alive and remembered him. a lot of insights from them.
did you know he considered his own indian brethern in South Africa as just a lower labour class and not worthy of his status.

Didn't know that at all, how does the South African Indian community view him?
