“The first rule is to always wear a helmet, he urged. There are 15,000 people dying on roads of Pakistan roads every year and in 80% of car accidents, motorbikes are involved,” he explained.

“Here are some of his other rules on road safety for motorcyclists: Always look at intersections to make sure the car in front of you isn’t changing their course; Check to see if the car in front of you isn’t changing lanes; Never trust a parked car because they might open their doors.

“If you respect these fundamental rules and wear a helmet, which can save your life and prevent lifelong health hazards, then I think you’re much safer on the roads and I wish all of us safe travels,” said Kobler.

He ended his video with a note to young people to wear a helmet even if it spoils their hair. “Go to the hairdresser later. Safety first!”

No. Germany is probably one of the most critical nation in Europe when it comes to Pakistan.

Naah, Germans are critical of everyone.... the work ethics they have are simply difficult to match.. so they criticise British, French and every European nation as well. Which is kind of justified if you work with them.

This has nothing to do with work ethics. Besides, the young German population is different from their grandparents.

This guy is a journalist of Pakistani origin. His entire work is focused on Pakistan and Turkey. Whenever he writes about one of these two countries, he is heavily criticizing them.

Would have been even better if he can persuade German companies to invest in Pakistan. But that’s not something he seems to be interested in.

Maybe you can go on twitter and read the response from the KPK government to the exact tweet which explains the difference in cost? Or are you only interested in presenting innuendo and agenda?

Nowshera's 'substandard' road built at more than 'double the price': German envoy

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government built a road in Nowshera district more than double its original price, with much lower quality, German ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler has revealed.

“Look at this road at Azakhel Bala built by the villagers, financed by Germany’s KfWpress,” the envoy stated in a Twitter post on Wednesday.

Kobler said, “1 km build by villagers cost 4 million with a 12 inch layer,” and added. “Same road built by @KPGovernment costs 10 million pkr with lower quality (6 inches). CAN YOU TELL ME WHY??”

    K-P’s anti-graft department sacks 105 ‘corrupt’ officers

Azakhel Bala is a village in the Pabbi tehsil of Nowshera district in K-P province.

Just last month, the provincial anti-graft department sacked 105 of its own employees after receiving complaints from senior officials about their illicit practices.

According to the K-P Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), the department initiated action against its own employees after it received complaints some individuals were involved in corrupt practices apart from influencing investigations and misusing their authority.

An official, who did not wish to be named since he was not entitled to speak to media, stated that it took them 10 months to collect evidence against the said employees.

Some of the employees faced departmental inquiries while others, especially those who were on deputation and serving at ACE, were repatriated to their original departments.
