The first batch of the 350 Puma oder, for the german Bundeswehr, is getting closer to its end in August 2020...

First big news, the money for the second batch of 210 Puma recived the green light.

The first Puma (41) of the first batch recive a update till March 2021 to make them compatible for the Very High Rediness Task Force (Land) 2023.

After the last Puma of the first batch is delivered all batch 1 Puma recive guided missle MELLS system integrated and a hard kill systems to improve protection.

If the second batch recive even more upgrades is not clear so far...

After wiining the trails clearly during the Czech Army trails for a BMP2 replacement, the company has pulled the Puma out of the competition which leave Czechs option only to Lynx CV90 and Ascod. Reason was money... Czech Army wanted to many costly changes at the Puma and not willing to pay more.
