Iski zaroorat nahi hai. This is a simple problem. She was stressed at the time with no info about her mother. The MO was not usual for the Police. Disappearances of this nature are ATTRIBUTED to the army. So she named the army chief in the process. She should and probably will apologize to QJB and the army stating reasons for wrong assumptions. Failing that she will get her wings clipped which again is not a wrong thing. The only other aspect I had not thought of was whether this has been done to keep the mother compliant to the needs of the army. This obviously remains my view point.
While the right to file an FIR cannot be denied, I do not think this should have been done as it will again bring the whole scenario of army interference to the limelight and possibly create more hatred for establishment. Let saner heads prevail and let this get resolved amicably. Ameen

Fine go ahead. But why no FIR against Maryam Safdar, Capt safdar, Ayaz Sadiq, Hamid Mir, Najam Sethi, and above all Nawaz Sharif himself for calling out names of Pak army leadership?

Is it because they are rich and powerful and iman mazari has nothing to back her up. I literally hate iman mazari and her views but this one sided justice will damage Pakistan army even more.

Events of the present cannot be related to the past. One wrong event should not be used to justify another. Blaming someone without proof is a heinous crime in islam (Qazf) punishable by 40 lashes. The socuety does need to learn to not blame each other carte blanche.

I know there is a group that blames the army and govt, so there is also a group that blames only the army leadership (my personal opinion is that they are to blame to a certain extent and should be held accountable in the overall federation). Here is the problem I have with individuals like Iman; when it is plainly written on the wall that the govt arrested your mother albeit with the involvement or help of the establishment, but you decide to go full retard and simply blame one institution, it shows blind stupidity or hatred, hard to differentiate. If one of my loved one was going through the same thing and i was certain of the involvement of one party and suspicious or even certain of the second party , I wouldn’t blame somebody strictly based on my past bias.

If she believes, like many of us do, that the PMLN is protected by the establishment, then it makes sense to name the top culprit.
