Isn't Netball doing quite good? Average height of SL really is a disgrace,In Int Basketball ? Pretty slim.. One given the average height of Sri Lankans the other i think it comes ways down the list in popularity after Cricket, Rugby and Athletics
The national sport of the country is Volleyball, In which the average height of a top ranked player is between 6'1 and 6'11.. Average height of a Sri Lankan male is 5'5.. It's ranked 91st in the world
So you can imagine how dumb and misplaced the priorities are, Some fucktard politician in the mid 80's woke up one day and just decided that Volleyball should be the national sport![]()
Netball is, Sri Lanka are Asian Champions and have played in world cups bar 1 or 2 if i'm not mistaken.. Thats because they have long established pedigree in Netball, Sri Lanka is quite unique in South Asia when it comes to Sporting culture, Sports like Rugby and Netball are very popular like rest of the commonwealth but almost unheard of in the rest of the sub continentIsn't Netball doing quite good? Average height of SL really is a disgrace,![]()
literally noone plays basketball herePakistan has potency in Basketball since many Pakistani are tall. The problem I think more on professional competition that was not as good as other part of Asia. I also have checked Youtube and I dont find any international game played by Pakistani team, it seems your team doesnt have many international experience.
