I am far from naive. If you knew where I work then you would understand where I am coming from. This has NOTHING to do with Politics, the JF17 deal or stopping investment in Pakistan. This about a sports organisation that is risk averse. You are naive. Its all part of bigger strategy which is to isolate Pakistan. US foreign secretary already said it recently that they are reviewing their ties with Pakistan. Fatf is a clear example. Stopping cricket in Pakistan will also stop international investors to visit Pakistan and invest.
Yaar he is not naive, he is British Asian. These Bobby Jindal types grow in buckets in wet weather!!!Talibans Govt officials took oath on sept 12.

I fully agree with you. We have virtually neglected all other sports for the sake of Cricket. This is what happens when you concentrate all your funding on one sports which isn't even good or popular. Pakistan should put its attention on other sports like Football, Basketball, Golf, Field Hockey, UFC, Wrestling and Tennis etc. which aren't influenced by India.
With the way things are going with cricket, things are getting very boring when the sport is just dominated by India. All other countries are losing its interests in it. You will see indian expats from New Zealand, Australia and England playing in their national teams only with the way things are going. How BCCI is doing this crap will lead to India only playing against India.
They want to sell it as an advanced level trainer. I think mega US companies cannot let India enter US industry even if, Teja outclass all systems the US defence companies can offer.India want to sell LCA to USA NAVY to counter JF-17 potential purchase by Argentina.
Stop being dumb and stupid. Those 'English nationals' are like many of the PDF members, diaspora Pakistani's with British passports. They are about English as biriani.England has a skewed understanding of security when it comes to her citizens. Apparently 25 sportsmen are unsafe while 25 hundred thousand English nationals are touring Pakistan on any given day.
Politics should be avoided in arts and sports but Britain has always seen sports as a tool for colonialism.
Well, you got it wrong, it's nothing to do with BCCI. However, India did play its part just a little. I learned from highly reliable sources that there was a meeting held in Delhi where people related to security from the US, UK, and India were discussing what should be done to put pressure on Pakistan in relation to Afghanistan. We did suggest that canceling cricket and creating an atmosphere that Pakistan terrorism is growing is a good and reliable method. Once across the world, people feel Pakistan is unsafe there will be a trickle-down effect.Indian influence over Cricket (sports) in action.
