Yes, it will more costly and always will be a OEM product. Just like Su 30 mki and JF 17.

Even I am agreed because there is no threat as such in South Aisa. better to focus on 4 ++ with AESA and also work to indigenous development of ASEA and AMCA.

If we will find challenging scenarios in south Asia then we can buy Su 57 or new upcoming fighters on a emergency.
