one thing ive noted over the years is that the bangla gov't seems to be "exporting" its citizens to different lands at whole sale level . And the more surreal thing is that in most cases they even deny about their existence let alone taking em back
This is true of ALL countries in the subcontinent.

As a legal immigrant -- someone who followed the rules, crossed the t's, and dotted the i's -- I wholeheartedly oppose any amnesty give to illegal immigrants regardless of who they are and where they are from.

That a foreign minister of a country would even request such a thing is unbecoming. This will only encourage more illegal immigration.

Giving amnesty to illegal immigrants is a hot-button issue in the US. The Democrats don't have the political muscle to pass such legislation as their leads in both the House and Senate are razor-thin.
So Bharti and selfish of you. Obviously an immature poster. 8-)

Now if you were an H1B and close to losing status, you'd be singing a different tune.

Put yourself in the shoes of your Indian illegal compatriots first. Learn to have some humanity for a change. Not all have your education, wealth, connections and privilege.

Indians count as one fourth of all illegals in the US, some 6,30,000 of them at last count. Google it.

People don't migrate as a hobby. They do this risky thing to better their own lives.
😂 yeah that guy, he first started during mujib era, took permission from mujib to export people to Middle East and other markets for labour. He basically made money selling people
Now he’s moved up though, he deals in arms and ammunition now
Isn't that the idiot who gets spoon fed three times a day with a gold spoon or something?

If you want me to say the US immigration system needs to be revamped, then you have my complete agreement. But if you are saying that illegal immigrants -- essentially lawbreakers -- should be given amnesty, then you and I will have a big problem.

And it's not a question of wealth, connections, or even privilege. Why should those who followed the rules be punished while those that break them be rewarded? And I don't care if they are fellow Indians or not.

There are 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States. According to your calculations, there are 2,530,000, with 25% of being Indians. Both numbers are wrong.

Indians may be the fourth biggest group, but they make up only 5% of illegals.

I meant fourth highest in numbers of all illegals in the US. Which they are per your source,

Spoken like an upper middle class Indian person with no understanding of Indian society. As is typical of many people in India.

No wonder your country has so much unequal development. Dreaming of Mars rovers and hypersonic missiles while people go hungry having one meal a day and going to the loo by the side of the road or tracks.

I doubt you have any idea of what the real India is or how real Indians live from day-to-day. I will post pictures to remind you.

However - Bangladesh (yes a country one eighth India's size) has bested you in GDP per capita, health, hygiene, education, you name it. And your country gained independence twenty five years before us.

Irresponsible Indians like you can only take away opportunities - never create them. Only look down your noses at fellow Indians, never help them. A shame - really.

Legal and illegal immigration are objects of debate. Indians emigrate overseas because situation at home are f*cked up beyond belief and they want to make their lives better. You as an Indian upper class or upper middle class are part of the problem, not the solution. YOU CREATED THE VERY SITUATION THEY ARE TRYING TO ESCAPE.

Take responsibility for your stealing the "HUQ" (Justice) from poor people by making their lives miserable, so they have to escape. First step to resolving a problem is trying to understand what you did as far as Indian poverty and trying to undo that.

But being selfish and Bharti, you will never own up to your responsibility.

That is why India will remain the object of revulsion by the rest of the world, Modi propaganda notwithstanding.
