KARACHI- A power cyclone that has killed over a dozen people in India and Sri lanka, is expected to hit Pakistan’s coastal areas, The Met office warned on Saturday.

The cyclone is expected to enter the Arabian Sea from South East and will hit Karachi, Badin, Thatta and other coastal areas on 3rd and 4th December in the form of cloud cover, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said.

The Met office further added that the effects of the cyclone will begin to diminish from 4th December.

The cyclone barrelled into the lakshwadeep islands in southwestern India, after flooding the neighbouring states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, on Saturday. Occhki has so far claimed approximately 14 lives with more than hundred fishermen still feared trapped at sea.
