And that is very unlikely to happen. The new elite will be just like the old elite. Naya will be just like Purana.
I beg to differ, the only way the new elite will become elite in the first place is by being vicious and hungry.

I don’t know where this discussion is leading to.

Pakistan army, no doubt is a professional fighting force and has earned multiple accolades in the past.

It is the Generals we are talking about. To say, they can do no wrong or they are near perfect, for the past 75 years and after this fiasco is intellectual dishonesty. There is a reason they are getting plenty of slack for their coups, extra constitutional actions, overthrowing of governments, corruption, buckling under pressure etc. i would say, learn to accept criticism and mend your ways. Same for politicians and judiciary.

You see, an honest businessman, who has faith in Allah and goes out and earns an honest living for himself and his family is as precious as an army personnel fighting on the border. His taxes finances the state institutions.

There is a reason why a large majority of Pakistanis are taking the Generals to the cleaners, and it is not Imran Khan’s narrative. People wouldn’t have come out in large numbers the night he was overthrown.

You guys are smart enough to understand what Allah does to nations who spread injustices in His land. NROs, twisting of judgements, letting criminals go scot free, giving them powerful positions. This is what invites Allah’s wrath.
Konsay accolades hain yeh? Humain bhi tu batao...they've lost all wars and haven't won a single battle decisively. There have been some brilliant actions by some commander, fighter pilot, but those have been almost all by Navy and Air Force. Army as an institution has been an utter failure from day one.

Well, neither you nor I know what will happen in the future, so we can take this up at a later date, whenever you think that such a change has actually happened.

Neither of us can predict the future but if new elites are born, this is a big if, then there is no way that they will be anything like the previous elites because it will be impossible for the new elite to become elite without causing massive disruptions. Considering this how can you say that these disruptors will be anything like the old elites?

@VCheng How can a disruptor end up becoming similar to the ones he/she disrupted?

The system perpetuates itself in its own image. Disruptors are either weeded out ruthlessly or assimilated. Did we not just see an example of that?

But sir that's not my point. If we assume that the disruptors have succeeded and thus a new class of elites is born, let's call them new money. How can this new money ever end up becoming anything like the old elites?

The world is unpredictable so it shouldn't be too surprising if the birth of new money becomes a reality.

LOL. You are free to assume anything you wish. I cannot object to any assumption, because I know it does not represent a fact in existence. Please carry on with as many assumptions as you wish, and more, if you want.

Another convicted criminal in the federal cabinet planted by establishment.

one correction to faiz sahib:
woh din jis din fall wali topian uchali jain gee. Taj is a small thing

The problem is the old money has the guns, and as long they have them, they reign supreme. As @VCheng said, they'll be assimilated, and you'd not know the difference. What can cause change is disruption through the war, and then the question becomes do people have the appetite for that?

The rise of new elites in Pakistan is a fascinating scenario and it is fun to speculate what would happen if such a possibility becomes reality. Many things can happen but some are more likely than others. In such a scenario do you think that the new elites will be different from the old elites in their approach to creating wealth? Please don't be neutral this time as there are no right or wrong answers here, this is just fun speculation.

I am well aware of that, I simply created a scenario in which the disruption somehow happens and a new set of elites rise.

Do you have any evidence against ishaq dar? You can't blame him for everything. People blame him because he belongs to pmln. Remember the value of pkr against dollar when he left the country. 1 dollar was 130 or 125 pkr. Look at pkr now. 236??? Pti appointed wrong people in finance department.
Can’t believe it, all our economic terminologies, developments all begin and stop at usd to pkr rate.
Even our financial markets/stock market don’t follow market fundamentals
Just by Dar coming back pkr became stronger

I am not a fan of PTI, actually it was shaukat tareen (another industrialist) who started the actual f up of economy. Hafeez sheikh did a good job (as he is economist) in managing things.

I am confused can you explain what are you referring too. Your graphs are showing CAD was historically down and exports historically high..it really is the exports or inflows (remittance+exports+ services+investment) that matter nothing else

I think you are IK double agent trying to give him good light
I would suggest deleting this post

Because people dumped dollars as they think dar will in the short run improve dollars

I would do the same.
Dump your dollars and buy back in January when we are close to default

Well, 75 years, and that approach is going on stronger than ever.
Shackles of Ignorance don't fade away over night, it took Prophet 23 years with a divine message to stabilize the society, you think that Pakistani's who are not just ignorant but jahil when it comes to the fundamentals of basic common sense will be free anytime soon? here on PDF you can see that educated people can be brainwashed to an extent where they can claim a corrupt Mafia and land grabbing army, and portray them as some divine holy warriors. I can bet that those Generals if they ever come across comments like these will laugh at us while sipping from the Glass of Wine.

@Goritoes @Signalian
please stop this, you seems crossing the line here.

people with knowledge ... knowledge blessed directly by Allah upon them, did not dare touch this matter so casually even knowing about it.

how can you do this?

i would request you not to take matters particularly this filthy politics to a level where things are entirely different.

this mystic path, let it be left alone. i don't think you two gentlemen will ever let it go south.
There is nothing wrong in correcting someone, his claim was that Allah is made of Noor which we know nothing off, We know that Allah's veil is made of Noor from behind he communicate, no one has seen Allah and no one will until the day of Judgement, in fact many scholars say that seeing Allah is the biggest reward of Jannat, rest is just perks that Allah will give to his beloved servants, so Yes I was correcting the ignorant person, I don't care about Sufism/Mysticism and other BS, we have one Quran and Sahih Hadith, and if Allah has give you a rationale mind you don't need Rocket science to understand the basic/fundamentals of Islam.

He added $30 billion to total Pakistan debt owed to this day for unnecessary projects at high cost during Pml tenure.

Rupees devalued by a lot in those days.

Now there is nothing Imran Khan can do to bring back economy !!!!

Lanaat.

Wtf why don't Pakistanis awaam kill this b@$tard, I just don't understand a traitor returns to power & they're sitting watching, wtf!?!?!#@?
