Stone-pelting incident between two communities led to the several persons getting injured that included a local MP and a senior police officer on Thursday.

The clash took place during a rally to mark Ambedkar Jayanti in Sadak Dudhali village.

The shobh yatra by Dalits was objected by members of the Muslim community as it was passes through the latter’s locality following which the matter escalated. Local administration had denied permission for the shobha yatra but still it was taken out. The procession was taken out for the first time in 7 years.

The rally being taken out to mark BR Ambedkar's birth anniversary in Sadak Dudhali village here was allegedly objected to by members of a community who started pelting stones, they said.

According to newsagency PTI, MP Raghav Lakhanpal Sharma and SSP Kumar were among several people who suffered injuries in the ensuing stone pelting from both the sides, they said, adding some other policemen were also injured.

Following this, police reached the spot and pacified both the groups. However, the MP along with his supporters reached outside the SSP's official residence and started protesting demanding conduct of the rally and suspension of the Senior Superintendent of Police, police said.

"A peaceful rally was taken out to mark BR Ambedkar's birth anniversary which was attacked by a group here. The MP was injured in the incident," a spokesperson of the MP told PTI.

The SSP said permission for the rally was not given by the administration.

"75 per cent miscreants were outsiders. Police advised them to not carry out the procession since they did not have permission and then stone pelting ensured," Md. Ayub, local villager.

Taking strict action, the police held a flag march saying those who pelted stones will be identified and arrested.

The situation was normal on Friday morning with heavy police deployment.

Western UP’s Saharanpur is considered to be a communally sensitive area. In 2014 riots occurred between Muslims and Sikhs over a piece of land.

For one such incident there will be many more like the the below... But Bhakts will keep mum over this.

Anyways the below is what happened in their. Hope Sanghi posters make a note of that.

BJP workers, including Saharanpur MP Raghav Lakhanpal also reached the spot and demanded that police should allow the procession to pass through the village. Police refused to accept their demand following which the procession was forcefully called off.

According to SSP Love Kumar, “Some groups had sought permission from the administration to take out a 'shobha yatra', but permission was not given as it was for the first time that nod for such an activity in the area was sought. According to the orders given to us, no new tradition is supposed to take place in communally sensitive regions.
But the groups were adamant on taking out the yatra, and a large crowd entered the village on Thursday.

The angry protesters also thrashed a Muslim man and torched his motorcycle on an adjacent road

So this situation is created to drive a wedge between 2 different section of people.

Sadak Dudhli village on the outskirts of Saharanpur, has mixed population of Muslims and Dalits but no procession had been taken out in last seven years in the village. After the Yogi Adityanath government took charge of Uttar Pradesh, Hindu groups in coordination with local BJP leaders announced they would take out procession named ‘Shobha Yatra’ through the village.

However, the police denied permission for the procession as it was communally sensitive area. But the BJP leaders went ahead with the procession without police permission.

Mr. Lakhanpal along with the BJP MLA Rajeev Gunnar led the procession through Sadak Dudhli village even when the police requested them not to go through the village.

Mr. Lakhanpal was injured in stone pelting when they were passing through Muslim lanes of the village on Thursday.

The violent crowd also allegedly vandalised the police station and broke the CCTV cameras and furniture. The mob also allegedly looted shops belonging to Muslims.

Dalit -Upper caste violence is analogous to Shia Sunni violence , don't you think ? It's intra community / communal violence .

Not that , it makes it any less deplorable .But with affirmative action , the socio economic status of the Dalit has improved which in turn means the Dalit of today will not lump what his ancestors used to ,

We can expect much more of this churn in the days , months and years to come .Which in my humble opinion is not a bad thing .Affirmative action along with the rise in economic opportunities and urbanisation will eventually prove to be the bane of casteism .

Can one say the same of Shia Sunni engagement ( Although Shia Sunni affairs in India are hardly as violent as they are as compared to our neighbourhood and thank God for that ) ?

That's a classical case of class war .Only if the victims are Hindus .In case of Dalit - Upper caste violence. , it'd be temed as class war if the victims are upper caste Hindus else if the victims are Dalit , it'd be barbarity compounded , casteism alive .

These are the tools with which an average Marxist ( the last Abrahamic religion ) academic ( read clergy ) in India ( but abroad too ) earns his bread .

For more such splendid earth shattering insights please Google the Marxist interpretation of the "1921 Moplah rebellion" .

The real abrahamic religion is becoming more dangerous than Marxist. Marxist are loosing public support, but xitianity is poisoning our society in a very serious way.

Aah , the evangelists .Characterised as hyenas and preying wolf by the Roman Catholics too.

Dharmic religions needs strategic alliances .We need to come to terms with the lesser evil ( RC) to combat the greater evil ( proselytising evangelists ).
