If you get the point that nobody knows how long a virus mutates, then how can you not understand that it is not based on time but probability numb numb. Lolol
The mutation is accelerated when more chances are created. Get it? With less exposure and cases, you might not see variant Omicron maybe until 5 years down the road. But due to dmbfcks in the West partying, the caseloads became hundreds of millions, thereby accelerating mutation. Undetsand?
Mutation will definitely occur for all viruses, the point is how long before it mutates. Get it? More chances, more likelihood of mutation.
Okok, let me put it in simpler terms so idiot like you can understand. Mutation happens when there is an anomaly in replication. In an ideal case all viruses should have the same DNA, but the more it replicates, the more chance it has to make an error aka anomaly. We are not measuring the time viruses replicate which is probably nanoseconds. You are measuring how long before an error occurs. With less replication, there is less chance of an error which may happen due to environmental factors, medication etc. But the key is more replication more likelihood for mutation. Hence when more fckers get infected, more viruses replicate, hence the mutation process is accelerated. GET IT my dear liberal arts major.
