Yes , all the systems you mentioned must have a satellite navigation system?
Beidou has a text messaging system for paid users / military users.
I would like to know if Pakistan being a partner in the program and having access to encrypted signals, makes use of this facility?
The missile can send back a text message, with last position data, before impact. That will confirm a hit or a miss.
I do not think Pakistan Military will opt to have data links routed through private or western firms. IMO either Chinese (again doubtful) or Pakistani built satellites (most likely) will be used for this purpose.

Though we have not seen REK being used to carry tactical nuclear warheads, but possibility cannot be ruled out. However, Ra'ad can carry nuclear warheads. Such systems cannot be risked to have comm link routed through foreign satellite channels.

Hey GNURadio is better than anything running on windows lol. Considering that it is a start I'm willing to give them a pass. I hope more serious efforts are done behind closed doors.
Definitely.

If they're using the GNURadio + USRP combo, then the possibilities of what they can do are literally endless. Just needs persistence and consistency.

Obviously, a solid theoretical background in relevant areas (RF, antennas, wave propagation, signal processing) will be required

It is a very humble beginning. Looking at these images, one can deduce that whatever work they are doing is at very early stages like planning. Otherwise, how development work on GNSS kind stuff can be performed on a single station? The space is make-shift for certain. It's either deliberate or like I said thing are at very very initial stages.
