Iran has been openly serving the interest of India and the accounts of its involvement in destabilizing Pakistan abound. From trying to own Uzair Baloch to commander jhadev the innumerable terrorists and target killers captured trained in Iran... The high time our fellow Pakistanis decide and put rightful pressure on Iran to do away with such malice.

Yeah, its all very strange. Today right after attack on hospital in Afghanistan, govt call it Afghan Taliban foot print and start operation against Taliban next hour. Now Pak-US brokered peace talk with Taliban went to its logical end by Asharf Ghani. Taliban said , not to blame us. Imagine our whole region is infested with lots of foreign agents.

Pakistani security agencies believe that over the past few years Iranian intelligence services have forged ties with Baloch separatists to counter Iranian militants, who are allegedly having sanctuaries in Pakistan. This has widened trust deficit between the two countries, making the ethnic Baloch insurgencies on both sides of the border murkier.

Some of our fellow Pakistanis love Iran more than Pakistan.

We should not have any expectations from Iran. For their military capability, we have seen that how they shoot a passenger plane and now their own Naval ship the other day.

@Irfan Baloch .... what do you think about this headline from Dawn? Are they trying to spice up this issue?

Army asks Iran to observe principle of non-interference
    The Newspaper's Staff ReporterUpdated May 13, 2020

ISLAMABAD: The army on Tuesday called on Iran to observe principles of “mutual respect, non-interference, and equality” in relations with Pakistan.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Army Chief Gen Qamar Bajwa’s conversation with Iranian Chief of Staff of Armed Forces Maj Gen Mohammad Baqeri said the Iranian commander was told that Pakistan desires “for regional peace and stability on basis of mutual respect, non-interference and equality”.

Gen Bajwa had called Gen Baqeri on Monday to seek action against Baloch separatists, who have allegedly taken up refuge on Iranian soil. The call was made against the backdrop of Friday attack on a Frontier Corps patrol in restive Balochistan in which six troops were martyred. The Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack.

“Both commanders resolved to enhance security measures on either side of the border,” the ISPR said.

Pakistan and Iran have in the past agreed on a number of border mechanisms, which improved the border security situation, but occasionally incidents happen that further strain the relations between the uneasy neighbours.

Pakistan is erecting a border fence along the 909km border with Iran to check the movement of militants, smugglers, and other criminals. Last month, the Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet had allocated Rs3 billion for the construction of fence.

Gen Bajwa emphasised mutual cooperation for tackling cross-border terrorism.

“COAS said that Pakistan has started fencing the border but will require mutual bilateral cooperation to ensure border security and stem smuggling activity which is also used by terrorists and narco traffickers for covering their movement,” the ISPR said.

The two generals also discussed Covid-19 and underscored the need for improving border terminals to deal with the pandemic.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said that Tehran, because of its crumbling health system, pushed nearly 5,000 Pakistanis across the border after the start of the epidemic in Iran.

Reading exact text of ISPR it seems Dawn is close. maybe wording is rephrased but its not exaggerated in my opinion.
there must be more which is not reported.

absolutely. our own interests are a must and keeping in view of our joint commitment with china regarding CPEC and the danger of terrorists.

so any action has to be with a view of all realities. conducting strike on Iran or helping Jundullah is very easy thing to do but there are repercussions which stop us from taking an action like that.

what are they? there are many and i trust people know them

How shamelessly you argue on behalf of a terrorist state. You must be related to Zulfi Bukhari types.

This is not the first time Iran has murdered Pakistani soldiers or nationals. Infact their crimes against Pakistan are much larger... and i expect the so called defense commentators here to know all the big list.

Musharraf need not to lie on stuff which is international knowledge.

The solution was always simple and doable by Iran, being the richer country.
They could have built a fence.
They didn't, because they are not sincere in stopping cros border infiltration.

Us pakistanis have no dignity only jahliyat... we have never even took advantage of our sphere of influence to the west... any self respecting nuclear power would have conquered iran and its unused oil by now. Who would help them against nukes? India? :toast_sign:

I am afraid wall is not solution. Because Afghan side is wide open. All operation control from Afghan land. Make no sense 18 Indian consulate near Pak border in Afghanistan. Now Taliban invite India to establish peace in Afghanistan. Both Iran and Pakistan very weak, also extreme poverty in Baluchistan. Govt is not financially strong enough to provide alternate employment. If you read USAID program in Afghanistan, Afghan farmers offered free seed and convince them to stop cultivating hash and poppy. But ..here is outcome .. where they make money.
