I respect scientific and engineering achievements by any country. I cheer China and the US. I even congratulate Indians for genuine scientific achievements.
Unfortunately in Pakistan, the corrupt elite who have been supported by the Arabs and the US/UK have left the country in such a dismal state, without a single world class technical university while they looted billions, that there are not too many Pakistani scientific achievements. That is why we were hoping for Imran Khan to clean house, but the US didn't like that.
I don't expect many people in the US to agree with me right now, but I believe future historians and US strategists will look back at this moment as the crucial mistake by the US, when it made a short-sighted decision and lost the respect of a whole generation in Pakistan. Usually, young people around the world worship the US as the land of freedom, fun, and opportunity, but the US screwed this one up at least in Pakistan.
