Last Government made 1410 MW Tarbela 4th Extension
I am talking about all the 5 extensions. Why didnt we do it in first phase or at the time we were installing oil based plants since last w5 years ?

This was easy and cheap as well.

We could have ask private sector to invest as well along with banks

At least they should force the Chinese firm to transfer the competence to pull off such projects to a handful of Pakistani firms...this is saare aam dacoity
chinese will never teach anything to locals. Also they will delay the project and demand more money.
Thankfully this project is from WB, if not then another loan from some random chinese bank and undisclosed interest rate...

this is getting so repetitive...

Good question, also if there were any other contenders for the project? Giving this to a chinese firm without a tender like process ?
