Amid tensions with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), IAF's Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari said the Chinese Air Force has still deployed three airbases facing eastern Ladakh.

India and China were involved in a standoff along the LAC last year as clashes between PLA soldiers and Indian troops in Galwan Valley led to casualties on both sides. India lost 20 Indian soldiers in the clashes and China admitted that four of its soldiers were killed. However, reports claimed the Chinese casualties were much higher.

Chaudhari said China had built aircraft shelters in Tibet while asserting that the Indian Air Force was capable of tackling the "two-front threat" namely with China and Pakistan.

India's air chief marshal said although disengagement talks are underway with China but the PLA's infrastructure development along the LAC is carrying on "at a very high rate".

India's Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat had said earlier that the disengagement process with China was slow due to "suspicion on both sides".

Chinese troops had recently conducted high altitude exercises in Tibet conducting night and day operations with the latest equipment. PLA had also conducted operation "Snowfield Duty-2021" military exercise in the Tibet plateau region involved live ammunition drills and used anti-aircraft batteries including Type 15 light tanks.

Reports had said earlier that China had deployed modular container-based accommodations in the high altitude regions in eastern Ladakh.

Chinese state media had earlier reported that authorities were building 30 airports in Tibet and Xinjiang provinces. China has already started a bullet train connecting Lhasa with Nyingchi which is close to Arunachal Pradesh.

Renowned Indian defence analyst who is seen to be sceptical of Indian Military preparedness and bravado viz a viz China is also clearly not convinced that IAF can take on the PLAAF. In fact, he has gone to the extent to suggest it will only take PLAAF three days to subdue IAF. His tweets mostly suggest that Indian military chiefs live in a FOOLS PARADISE.

A lot of Indian keyboard warriors hate Mr. Sawhney, but we need people like him to pull us back from the extreme end to which garbage channels like Republic TV push. I am no expert on warfare, but I do know that cronies are as dangerous as traitors, if not more. They will always tell the king that he is god's incarnate upon earth, that he is all powerful and that the mlecchas are shit scared of him, that he can crush the mlecchas under his toe. When the king is defeated and a vassal appointed, these cronies quickly switch loyalties. Give me Pravin Sawhney over Gooswami any day.

IAF (I Always Fail) has already failed in 72 hours against PAF:
  1. 02-26: SPICE missiles failed to hit the targets. IMO, electronic signals (including military grade GPS) got jammed.
  2. 02-27: IAF completely got overwhelmed in the EW domain. Two jets got downed. AD system misfired as FF (Friend or Foe) malfunctioned due to some PAF tricks. IA top brass were running toward the woods as PAF SOMs were chasing them at their field HQ.
  3. 02-28: IAF accepted capitulation as ballistic missiles were deployed to face MAD as the last resort.
As far as Pak is concerned, no surprise here....

PAF shot down IAF mi17. Alot of eye witness on the ground claimed seeing couple of fighter flying really fast and then they saw something like shooting star trail the chopper.
Spyder SAM is one of the most advance short rage system that can basically works like a video game... it tells u what what type of aircraft is flying so even if friend and foe was stitched off it would have able to tell that the flying object is a fighter jet and no way a PA chopper can fly over 100 km in enemy territory undetected.
And to deescalate the situation, both side agreed to play it off as friendly fire.
There are more evidence to believe PAF shot it down then a friendly fire.

Planted piece to force Indian public and civilian government to sink more funds into the IAF.
