PLA and its sister organisations have massive road and air infrastructures in place to counter the Indians on the Ladakh front. These massive communication lines are sufficient to keep the food ,ammunition and armament supplies to the frontline soldiers all year round. Such infrastructure was not built overnight, the Indians have been found lagging and may pay the ultimate price in the future.

Road Lines of Communications

These air and land lines of communications are currently supplying three divisions of PLA infantry and mechanised divisions. In time of need more
COMBAT divisions can be deployed with ease. The unique SPIDER excavators are being deployed around the LAC for more communication lines.

Indians have far more forward outpost compared to China. From the map, Chinese garrisons are very far from the LAC.

Chinese are mechanized infantry while Indians are light infantry or motorized infantry. They only know how to clump together like easy targets while hiding in bunkers.

Yet Chinese out maneuvered Indians. What use of so called forward posts if they cannot protect India's sovereignity and do the only role they are created/payed by Indian taxpayers hard earned money for?

There is something called "strategic depth".

Most Indians think it'll cost them only $1-2 billion (peanuts) to match permanent 200,000 Chinese troop deployment.

They don't realise China has allocated $70 billion annually (more than the entire Indian defence budget) since 2018 for deployment, training and exercising in the harsh environment.

The so-called "permanent 200,000 Chinese troop deployment" is not important.

The reality is that there are no safe places in India, and China can destroy India's everything without crossing the border.

To China, India doesn't have strategic depth.

That maybe the case, however, Indians didn't realise that when CPEC was launched back in 2013, China shortly afterwards also launched a military project to protect CPEC in 2015.

All along Indians and Americans thought China was going to turn Gwadar into a military base and not realising Chinese border with India was going to be militarised instead.

China did Doklam in 2017 but Indians didn't realise why they did it and just reacted to it without thinking of the consequences (the reneging of the 1993/1996 border agreements).

Indians call this intelligence failure.

That just means there's a lot more targets in artillery range. PCL-181 will be getting a workout

If India thought 1962 was bad, they don't know what's coming in the future.
