Yea permanent magnet makes little sense. Even if a train leaves every 5 mins - assuming length of train crosses a point on one second - then thats 299 seconds of useless magnet and one sec useful.
Permanent magnet is a part of the suspension and it is always useful.

Don't stress your brain too hard my man, when I came, where I came from? Thinking too much about me! Take a break! Bdw your dad propbably arrived on a boat to new zealand too? Ask him, maybe he was one of those? And my comprehension is much better than overwhelming majority of population both in NZ and Aus where most people don't study after school or maximum a diploma! 😃

Yes you are in the sticker business, be proud of it and call it a business! lol.. China is one of the biggest semi conductor manufacturers. The electronics you are talking about are all made in China 100% by a long shot. Cars? Which bloody car NZ or daddy country Australia makes? ZERO, NILL! You guys don't even assemble them!

Which masters are you talking about? Why getting so judgemental again? It is you who has USA as master, which your PMs like to frequently s**k on not us. 😃 And yes when we recover from the British looting and depleting our country's assets we shall have faster trains too! Till then we are happy that they can do 120 km/hr, faster than Australian & NZ ones! 😂
3 generation vs a newbie...fair.By the way my Grand dad came here....From Pakistan.

Oh so you are lecturing on education...look at the level of education at your country mate....one of the lowest literacy rate in the world, any innovation so far? how many research papers your "Educated people" publish/year, how many of your educational institutes figure in global standing......Better, make something in your country and then please lecture...doesn't suit you.

On your comprehension calibre...I am now convinced..Thanks. I stated China was used by West as cheap manufacturing hub (40 years back)....off course they produce, but use technology of the west and most of the companies producing stuff are Western (Technology products, White Goods, Automobiles).

On Master...again doesn't suit you to speak on the topic. You lay down in bed with anyone who throws money at you....First UK, then US, Saudis, now Chinese....have some shame....at least show some dignity and loyalty towards one. Read about opinion of prominent leaders, statesmen, Diplomats about you....You are well aware of the reputation associated with your state.

How many trains in your country run at 120KM/Hr?....Most of them are non-functional (Chinese engines don't last much), your railway is prone to accidents.....try finding similar issues with my trains.

Don’t forget permanent magnet is too weak, it can’t accelerate trains to high speed. Unless you build a slow train. principle of electromagnet train is similar to electromagnetic gun. the train is shot out of rail. From the usefulness I don’t think such magnetic train has a future. Germany and US scrapped both magnev train and electromagnetic gun. Xi Jingping just does it because he has money to waste. Ccp needs something to show off.

I read from an article, one reason of buying the Maglev technology is to, use it as part of the reference , to accelerate the development of EM catapult.

Now China got both EM catapult and EM artillery.

But I will never get any info on whether engineering team of Maglev assisted in weaponizing the technology.

If the speculation is true, then China would already has profited immensely nevermind if Maglev is unviable commercially.

Wow so Maglev, state of the art nuclear reactors, space flights, commercial & military aircraft, submarines & surface vessels, processors & 5G and a lot more. All of this achieved by a country that was torn apart by a civil war & colonialism just 7 decades ago. China keeps achieving new heights every day.

Congratulations to the Chinese people! Ignore the haters and jealous critics and keep improving your lives. I hope Pakistani politicians & people at the helm realize this soon that economic prosperity has to come first before anything else.

Oh so now you have a problem with Pakistan as well! Hahaha... Diapers, what you need is diapers man! Having some verbal diarrhoea there mate! 😄

Read about the history of Indian subcontinent and its economy before the British arrived, first invest some time on the topic, how white race got to where they are now, the cost of their "development" and then come sit with me to discuss if you want.

Till then mate, cry or stay awake in the bed if you will... Chinese does have better trains than you mate! Makes no difference if you believe otherwise, China has faster trains. 😂

Well if you have money then you can do. Magnev trains are even too expensive for Germany.
I think so.

Technology is getting to be pushed forward.

All simpler technologies that can be mastered at home or in a small workshop, are already being conquered as it's cheap and easier to master, accessible to almost everyone who has enough skill and willingness to try hard enough.

I think in the future what is left is the "expensive" technology, that required expensive ultra-advanced tools, huge money to burn, and hundreds to thousands of among the world's best scientists.
On July 20, 2021, the 600 km/h high-speed maglev transportation system is successfully launched in Qingdao, China. As the fastest ground transportation vehicle at present, this transportation system can meet the diversified travel needs of the people. #CRRC

When China first released commercial 350 km/h HSR, it's already a technological marvel.

And now this!

It's hard to explain.
