Pakistan should do a NATO type of agreement with China, so both nations can reap the benefits from each other.
Pakistan gets the huge consumer market of China for Pakistani-made manufactured goods, while China gets access to the Arabian Sea through Pakistan (Gwadar).

Why put all your eggs in one basket? Look at NATO now, it's on the verge of collapse - Pakistan and China have even less in common than NATO countries.

You are right, but Pakistan and China share common interests since we are neighbors. That will not change anytime soon.

Pakistan-China relations are so good, it is even better than Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations arguably.

Isn’t that what CPEC is?

Did he just say stragetically throws China off-balance that is rather very wishful statement coming from my mann here while Submarines aren't really much of a deterence here and could be eliminated in numbers of ways it is mostly used as second strike option but Australia doesn't really have nukes

Pakistan and China share some common nuisances for example India that's why they have good relations. If Pakistan gets into a NATO-like pact with China Pakistan will be directly opposed to all western countries.
Tensions against China are heating up and Pakistan does not benefit much by going all-in on China explicitly.

Good point and that is why China and Russia have not formally declared an alliance although they certainly act like close allies. They want to keep things fluid and not alarm the West.

However, Pakistan will be increasingly targeted by the US neocons, mark my words. This will be happening regardless of Pakistan's relationship with China.

Neocons and democrats both have the same policy toward Pakistan. First I should say there is more to the west than US and second there are fractures developing in the west.
Take France-US-Aus and the submarine deal for example. It wouldn't hurt to reach out to the French and try to see if they weren't willing to make those submarines for someone else. 😏

Thats what i am thinking. Whoever controls the oceans, controls trade, whoever controls air controls conquering land, and whoever controls space dominates as a world power.

China doesn't want to dominate something. China will bring the world into a multipolar era. Every country should dominate itself.

Access to the Chinese market (or any other large market) needed to be Pakistan's first priority to survive economically and grow. Sadly, it's turned the US away and instead of getting access to the Chinese market, from business reports, it seems as the Chinese instead have gotten full access to the Pakistani market and have damaged the already fragile economy.

In fact, China unilaterally granted Pakistan zero tariff treatment.

The tariff for Pakistani goods entering China is zero, and the tariff for Chinese goods entering Pakistan is 5% - 35%.
