China demands probe into Aussies’ crimes in Afghanistan
Special Australian forces deployed in Afghanistan have been accused of murdering 39 Afghan civilians
Riyaz Ul Khaliq |27.11.2020

ANKARA

China on Friday termed alleged war crimes by special Australian forces in war-torn Afghanistan a “hypocrisy” of those “who consider themselves as guardians of human rights and freedom”.

“We are shocked by reports on the murder of Afghan civilians and prisoners by Australian special forces soldiers. We strongly condemn such acts in breach of international conventions and human conscience,” China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lijian Zhao said at a news conference in Beijing.

Beijing called for a “thorough investigation” and holding perpetrators accountable.

Australia’s serving special forces members were implicated in the damning Afghanistan war crimes inquiry released by the country’s Defense Ministry last week. At least 13 of the soldiers have received termination notices.

The Australian soldiers have been accused of being involved in the killing of 39 Afghan civilians.

“These reports point to the hypocrisy of some western countries who like to consider themselves as guardians of human rights and freedom,” China’s foreign ministry spokesman said.

“Instead of pointing their meddling fingers at others, they should first reflect on their own problems and stop political manipulation.”

The statement demanding probe came amid faltering bilateral relations between Beijing and Canberra.

Two sides have witnessed relations slipping down after Australia joined calls to investigate origins of the novel coronavirus which was first reported in China’s Wuhan city last December and has since spread across the globe infecting over 61.11 million people with more than 1.43 million deaths.

Turkish and Afghan officials lambasted the crimes committed against Afghan civilians and have demanded stern action against the accused.

Australians and Canadians are just the lapdog of the US and they believe no one can harm them under the US protection.

As the US becoming weaker every year, not only economically, but morally and politically, and China becoming dominating, I hope they will understand who their boss is soon.

If Deng XiaoPing is still alive, he probably won't support this.

China takes a tough stance because Australia and its allies try to take advantage of the Hong Kong, Tibet, and Xinjiang issue to interfere in China's internal affairs, and because it wants to use the origin investigation. Covid-19 to slander and defame China. Punishing and condemning Australia is the right thing to do.

Now, Australian soldiers kill a few foreigners. It does not affect China's core interests, so why not make neutral statements.

True. Unfortunately Chinese diplomacy is run by kids today. Their infantile rants and warnings is embarrassing to say the least.

Here is Australian government trying to do the right thing, despite bringing shame to the illustrious SAS. This is laudable and example to follow.

Look at this guy cheerleading the Australians committing war crimes against innocent civilians. They only acknowledged a few crimes after whistleblowers exposed it. The real number of war crimes committed is far greater than the number they are acknowledging. It’s to cover up a bigger story.

The Anglos will treat you and your family the exact same way they treated the Afghans. They killed Afghan children and cut off their heads. The Anglos consider non-whites as subhumans.

Although I wouldn’t expect much from a guy that said China can’t make fighter jet engines.

Anglos consider non-white people as subhumans.
Thats not true. And an insult to subhumans. The Anglo establishment considers Irish and southern Europeans to be subhumans. Others are considered little more than insects.

and china has also shown it has a sense of humour. We know how they treat muslims of certain groups.

It does have a nasty image attach to those deployed in Afghanistan. We might expect more suicides to come.
by having this investigation Australia is avoiding the International war crimes courts and any "suicide" could be a suicide, or it can be a witness protection program. How would we ever know.

Imagine no-one in the Australian government knew about this but they know what time I go to the toilet.

people that did this, They talk about it openly. They should never have been given the opportunity to this.
