When will Pakistan expose the fact that India is behind ISIS khorasan? Pakistan need to be proactive. There should be diplomatic and media campaign to expose India.

It is tempting to point to intel failure, but one must remember our countries are over populated and crowded, making the job difficult. Internal security is an invisible service. All the time that terrorist attacks are not happening, your intel is working, theoretically. The likelihood of their failure is directly proportional to the level of radicalization among some local elements. Your internet works most of the time right? It does not happen automatically. There is an effort that goes in to keep it working. But it goes off for a second and you start feeling that your ISP cannot get anything right.

why even release the video of the perps so soon ? Isn't it better to trace where these guys stayed and who visited them and who funded them , before making everything public ?
Its improbable that they brought the explosives from Afghanistan.
Their backers will just melt away with all the evidence revealed.

There is no doubt there are many intel successes behind the scenes that the public will never know about. That is the nature of counter intelligence operations. The failure is on the policy front apart from intel. No one is blaming intel failure here. If thousand jihadis want to go kaboom even if 99.9% successful atleast 1 will get through.

The failure on the policy front is to not launch drone/missile/airstrikes on terror targets in afghanistan. Artillery strikes have been done for decades but that is not enough. Pak has procured many drones. At least a few dozen Shahpurs-1/2, CH-4, WL-2, and TB2s are in service already. What a waste of money

Was not Pakistan against drone strikes when 🇺🇸 was doing it,and used to say drone strikes creates more terrorists.

Open border = Trouble
couldn't agree more as an American citizen

Pakistan has been in a purity spiral since Zia, its unfortunate and it did make sense initially to the planners, but the actual results are a flame that will consume the entire nation. India has already made long strides ahead of Pakistan and I think it's in India's interest to have a secured border.

Gut wrenching to see, makes your blood boil
But I saw a Sikh man consoling the crying man, I didn't know if there were Sikhs in Peshawar of all places
Saw plenty in Punjab and specifically Lahore growing up but didn't know they were in KP

So what is the response? It was an Afghan suicide bomber.

Are we going to see boots on ground in Afg and finally carve out this buffer?
