He wasn't disrespected. Safdar just highlighted a part of our history eating dust. It was Ayub who called Fatima jinnah a traitor and raw agent. Safdar said madre millat zindabad. How is that disrespect. The slogan carried a hidden msg for the establishment about what they did to Fatima Jinnah.
Ap bas niazi sab kai uthao.
Safdar broke the law! Are you naive or a patwari? If patwari, then it is understandable that you lot don't give a damn about being law abiding citizens!

60 officers of Sindh Police have applied and gone on holidays. It’s happening when we need cooperation among institutions more than ever.
Haha you guys just don't understand you are just extending his term :D
Even billo is wiser.
You leader after 3 experiences even now doesn't understand that you can not turn army into Punjab police. Others have learned from your mistakes. Just doing it over and over again. There is no room for Sheikh Hasina in Pakistan.
What’s your point mate? I don’t have a clue about what you’re trying to say.

This is perfect. Imran Khan should claim Sindh police senior leadership is being forced to go on leave through political pressure. Pay a police officer to sing this tune. Then claim the security situation in the country cannot allow for what is effectively a police strike.

Enforce Governor Raj in Sindh.

Those who ridiculed madre millat are part of nawaz league. Those people of the area who riduculed jinnah voted for ayub khan then are now voting for shareefs. Hang niazi and make bilawal PM.

How should have things unfolded? It was Federal Government who wanted the FIR and the corrupt IG was refusing to uphold the law! PTI MNAs and MPAs were demanding FIR for the whole day before IG was apparently woken up. Rangers fall under MOI (that is Federal Gov) and ISI under PM - so nothing to do with Establishment.

It may even have been IB who threatened the IG to act. Upholding the law is his duty and if he refuses, PM could replace him with just one simple letter! And remember, PM appoints+removes IG of each province.

Looks like Nawaz has "set new precedence" and every frustrated scum can name Army Chief and DGISI for blaming and to demand an investigation.

The state needs to tighten some screws. Filthy politicians are easily attacking the security centre of the state.

When the time was right to tackle scumbags like Nawaz Sharif and Zardari both Imran Khan and COAS were holding a winter nap. Today the monster is showing its ugly head. It is too late for action now. Nawaz Sharif has found sanctuary in the UK and there is no one to hold him accountable. Nawaz Sharif's master India is pulling the strings. From London Nawazoo threatens the Pak military.

You reap what you sow. History will judge both Imran Khan and Bajwa extremely harsh. The two inept leaders who could have changed the landscape forever. Instead, their incompetence and unwillingness to take on monsters has made the problem only worse.

For your information there is separation of powers in Pakistan. Army chief had to oblige Supreme Court decision on his extension. Imran Khan had to oblige Islamabad and Lahore High Court decision on Nawaz Sharif. Executive alone cannot decide what to do with national criminals like Nawaz Sharif and Zardari unless the judiciary is on the same page. Had judiciary not been staffed with criminals that have soft corner for their like minded people, these problems would not exist

This issue has certainly become complicated! Does anyone know what exactly is going on here? I don't think army will do such an stupid act of abducting the IG and forcing him to arrest Capt. Safdar. What they'll gain out of this!? Capt. Safdar is a douchebag and even his own party doesn't care about him.
Also if PPP is involved in this then why the IG and several DIGs have gone on leaves? Are they being threatened by the PPP government. Seems unlikely!
Might be possible, that all the opposition are on board in all of this melodrama to defame the Army. But what ever it is, its has become complicated and there is no easy climax for this.
unfortunately the Army committed this blunder of pressurizing and harrassing a very senior police officer.

the way police has been insulted it can trigger mass resignations and lawyers movement like situation.

showing contempt for other institutions of state is hardwired in Pakistan army

they will bully you harass you insult you and question your patriotism

if you call them out and when things wont work their way still then they will throw motional blackmailing about sacrificing for nation.

Who committed the blunder of pressurizing a very senior police officer to not file FIR against Captain Safdar for desecrating Jinnah's tomb? Was it not CM Sindh? Anyone talking about that?

Karachi police was a mess during PPP until Rangers were called to get order in the city. Did they feel insulted back then?
