Our corrupt agencies are trying to take the credit for the recovery but they were told and identified the location by others to go and get it. stealing cars is easy you have to buy this device it comes from serbia at ten grand. you connect to your laptop and sends a signal to remote or car not sure which one but anyway car is unlocked and even start it. for tracker its easy you get bug finder and signal jammer.

other way they do it is to strip the car to bones then put in container send over then rebuild it. some make fake documents and change the vin number.

My 2 cents.

The Rolls Royce was bought in UK (they drive right hand over there like in Pakistan)

The driver drove it a few kilometers to classify it as second hand

UK being an exporter, customs must have cleared without any hassle

Import to Pakistan, would have involved kickbacks at massive level. Instead of a 200-300% tax, would have got away with 20% and that too into custom officials pocket.

Registration, well another commission to get the car registered and issued a license plate.

Remitting money from Pakistan to UK would involve remitting at full amount, probably to launder money and whiten as much as possible.

The rest would have been transferred through hawala.

The news probably leaked due to a custom official who didn’t get as per the deal.

The thing is that the car is reported as stolen

If anyone is surprised about this bentley please dont this is how things are in pakistan , smuggled/ stolen goods are sold in baluchistan and kpk tribal areas you will find all sorts of goods (cars to everything) and they are available in huge quantities. in sindh and punjab there is different modus operandi ..
