Speaking in the Lok Sabha, MP from Bangalore South constituency, said, "Illegal immigrants are a security threat to the state. Yesterday a terror module that operates from Bangladesh was busted in Bengaluru. I call upon the Centre to extend NRC to Karnataka and Bengaluru to weed out Bangladeshis who have come here illegally."

Saying that illegal migrants are a security threat in Karnataka, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Wednesday called upon the Centre to extend National Register of Citizens (NRC) to the state to remove Bangladeshis migrants from Karnataka.

A HUGE no. of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants have made Bengaluru their home, posing serious threat to national security while taking away jobs of Indians.

Inflow must end NOW & I urge the @HMOIndia to extend NRC to K'taka & Bengaluru to weed them out. @AmitShah @kishanreddybjp pic.twitter.com/GBzGNIYuPO

    1. Economic threat to locals

    1/3
They have not only become a security threat but also an economic threat as they are taking away jobs of locals, Surya said, urging the Centre to extend the NRC to Karnataka to weed out Bangladeshis who are residing there illegally.

NRC is a register containing names of Indian citizens, which was prepared for the only time in 1951 and is being updated for only Assam to weed out the illegal immigrants.
When the draft NRC was published on July 30 last year, there was a huge controversy over the exclusion of 40.7 lakh people from it.

    2. Centre evades question on NRC in Bengal

    2/3
The Centre Wednesday evaded a direct reply on whether the National Registrar of Citizens (NRC), currently being updated in Assam, will be undertaken in neighbouring West Bengal too.
Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai did not give a reply to a question in this regard asked by Ritabrata Banerjee, an independent Rajya Sabha MP from the state.

In a written reply, Rai said, "The NRC is being implemented at present in the state of Assam only as per the provisions of the Citizenship Act, 1955 and the provisions contained in the Schedule framed under Rule 4A(4) of Citizenship Rules, 2003." Banerjee had asked if the NRC updation is going to be carried out in West Bengal also.

    3. NRC only in Assam till now

    3/3
The Supreme Court-monitored NRC exercise, aimed at identifying illegal immigrants, was carried out only in Assam which has faced an influx of people from Bangladesh.

The draft NRC published on July 30 last year excluded of 40.7 lakh people from it leading to a huge controversy. The draft included names of 2.9 crore people out of the total 3.29 crore applicants.

The final NRC list for Assam will be published on July 31, 2019.

Its first of all more a security concern:

Speaking in the Lok Sabha, MP from Bangalore South constituency, said, "Illegal immigrants are a security threat to the state. Yesterday a terror module that operates from Bangladesh was busted in Bengaluru. I call upon the Centre to extend NRC to Karnataka and Bengaluru to weed out Bangladeshis who have come here illegally."

Secondly even your forum members have admitted so (even with the massive denial + inferiority complex charade here that try to act in groupthink unison)....btw chennai is about same distance from BLR to BD:

    https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/risi...ance-continues-in-april.556964/#post-10466962

Thirdly many of your compatriots here hit "like" and give support whenever its opportune thing (eg. demographic emotional reactionary stuff) when advocating illegal immigration. Thus they do acknowledge it and deep down likely know how this ends now...given rohingya result on it.

I for one will enjoy the reality imposed on you lot. Support of the 95% mandate by SHW gives big leeway to give her instructions in the end...since she clearly knows what's good for her. Same reason why she boldly has to cry "we have no design on Arakan Burmese territory"....with absolutely no instigation by anyone (she feels she is lower ranked than a measly deep state US congressperson on some blab "committee"...LOL).

Bangladeshis mostly do menial jobs in India like pulling rickshaws, house maids, construction labourers which they excel in, and to their credit they offer their services at unimaginably low prices. They will do anything to earn a living in India, and can adapt to the local culture very smoothly.

Huge parts of Bangladesh have not seen any developments in decades, money which should be spent for their social empowerment is being wasted on feel-good projects for the urban pockets.

Having no choice left, they are forced to jump the fence seeking a better life in India, they even risk the bullets of our BSF to earn a few measly taka in smuggling and all.

But they seemed to have forgotten that one mustn't bite the hand that provides.. They are radicalising our Indian muslims, subversive activities against the Indian Union are being plotted. Until now, they have only seen our benevolent side, if they continue their pogrom against the State we'll make sure that the Myanmar episode is a friendly poke up their stern compared to what's in store for them here.

India is not that ideal and rich enough, compared to Bangladesh your situation is not much different, your pictures is too rosy.

Compared to the parts of Bangladesh where these migrants hail from-the Char areas(river sandbars) which have seen zero development, Indian cities provide for a much better life.

More likely a hindutva traitor. We may find it difficult to accept, but there are some Hindus in Bangladesh who believe in Akhand Bharat ideology. This scum is one of them.

    For example?

1.The areas contiguous to the lower Assam districts of Dhuburi around the banks of the Jamuna in the division of Mymensingh where the Char dwellers reside.
    2. The region on the other bank of the Jamuna in the division of Rangpur, where is situation is complicated by water scarcity as one goes further north west.
    3. The inhabitants of the enclaves/chitmahals along the border with Assam and WB who have been essentially abandoned by your State and the are dependent on India for their livelihood. In all fairness, this is a nasty byproduct of the ill-conceived partition.
    4. Hill tribes in your CHT who are persecuted against and live in impoverished conditions.

Economic migration to India comprise of the first three groups, while the tribals in no. 4 were forced into India in the past.

I don't mind if any poor person works in India for their livelihood. Indian cities provide a lot of opportunities to make money.
2 problems though - a lot of these people are religious. That makes them a security and demographic threat. It is best for the government and security personnel to devise a plan to allow workers, and document them well.

On a personal level, I won't complain against illegal migrants unless they cause trouble for the locals. Most are just trying to make some money.

Makes no sense as BD is rapidly developing and has per capita at the same level as India. It will soon overtake.
In BD you now have to pay 7 US dollars a day for an unskilled farm labourer!
Sorry but you are confusing Indian Bengali Muslims with BD'shis.

Char dwelling population in Mymensingh division has no reason to go to Assam. They have better destination within Bangladesh to migrate. Look at Mymensingh city. Judging by skyline, Mymensingh city is noway lesser than Guwahati, capital of Assam and biggest city in North East India. Size of Mymensingh city is also comparable to Guwahati. Your impression of Mymensingh being devoid of development, poor and backward division from an Indian point of view is totally wrong. I would have accepted somewhat if it being told by an Westerner. But an north east Indian? Whose biggest and most modern city is comparable to Mymensingh city in Bangladesh. People of Mymensingh division has better living standard than an average Assamese. they have better destination like Mymensingh or Dhaka city to migrate. And you are fantasizing about them going to Dhubri? The most backward district in Assam?

Just today a bunch of stinky bongs tried to rob a jewelry in Kerala with guns. But the little bitch was caught by the employees and handed over to the police. I hope they beat the shit out of him. Especially in Kerala, Karnataka the menace of these porukkis is real.
