Vetos used on West proposed UN resolutions regarding Mymmar is more of an expression of the geopolitic rivalry between China and Russia on one side and US, Britian and France on the other. China vetoes also becos China is strongly against foreign countries esp US and European countries inteferences in other sovereign countrys internal affairs, this is a principle for Chinese foreign policy since the founding of China.

Thanks Sherlock!

We already know China’s geopolitical interests are not compatible with Bangladesh’s national security.

Same goes for India.

Which is why BD should never consider Chinese or Indian national security when making geopolitical choices.

Hence I am asking why the Chinese ambassador acts all entitled when we cock tease uncle same!

I am still waiting for an answer!

I dont know, Wizard, I am not a Chinese gov offical or spokeman, you have to find out from the Chinese gov if they are acting some way towards BD that you people consider not entitled. But, its conceivable and expected that China will be unhappy and against if BD enters alliance with US or anti-China org like QUAD that is directed against China just as India did, this is a reasonable response from any country facing such situation.

Listen Tommy!

My question is directed at Chinese PDF members.

Stop butting in and imparting your banal nonsense!

I have posed a question so let’s see if our Chinese “friends” have an answer.

Stop butting in!

Several autonomous regions in northern Myanmar do have deep relations with China. As for the Central Government of Myanmar, we do not care about it.

Try telling that to the powers to be in Myanmar and see how far it takes you

Well, genocide is what you are claiming, I dont know if either Russia or China has agreeed on that, both of them apparently have vetoed wests sanction and condenmation on MM. China wants to have good relation with the neighbouring country MM or any neighbouring country doesnt matter who is in power, I dont know if the Chinese gov is actually siding with MM on the Rh problem though.

to be fair you are right. China has been consistent here, After all China looked the other way when West Pakistani slaughtered East Pakistanis

The Rohangyas is also internal affair of Myanmar. case settled.

I am not telling I am fine with China's position. At least China is consistent.

The Myanmar issue involves the Han Autonomous Region in the north of Myanmar, so it is not an internal affair of Myanmar. If your behavior may hurt the autonomous region in northern Myanmar, China will definitely intervene.

These Han people in Myanmar did not harm the Rohingya people, so there is no reason for any country to harm them. If someone wants to hurt these Han people in Myanmar, they will inevitably face retaliation from China.

China cares about overseas Chinese just as other countries care about their overseas nationals.

Cut the BS. If Indonesia slaughters Chinese like in the past you are in no position to intervene

Your country India also considers it is internal affairs of MM too.
India isn't my country :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

India is your ancestral land, you are of indian descent, right. China might not be able to intervene in Indonesia, but China definitely is able to intervene in northern Mymmar bodering China.

Dude, you should never forget your roots. A lot of people went through major sacrifices to make India independent:

India isn't my country :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

If you are a country bordering China with Chinese nationals China will intervene

It is complete reversal of current Chinese government policy
Let the Chinese government state it -- see what kind of repercussions China faces

If something totally horrendous such as real racial genocide happenes to Chinese nationals in Mymmar, yes, China might intervene militarily, but, now Chinese gov has adhere to the principle of non interferences of countries. There is almost always special case where the norms wont be applicable. Would the US or India do the same facing similar stituation, my guess is yes !
