PanARMENIAN.Net - In 2019, Azerbaijan and Pakistan may sign an agreement on purchasing Pakistani JF-17 fighter-bombers. The announcement was made by the representative of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), as reported by Haqqin.az.

'The configuration of JF-17 Block 3, Azerbaijan is interested in, is now ready. The radar of AESA system is selected for the bombers and it will soon be tasted. The contract on the purchase may be signed in 2019,' said the representative of the producing company.

The representative also noted that the mass production of the JF-17 Block 3 will start in late 2019 or early 2020. According to the PAC representative, all the technical issues that can affect the sale to Azerbaijan are already successfully solved.

'By the end of 2018, it is planned to present the bombers to Azerbaijan as well as to other countries which also placed an order. Meanwhile Azerbaijan still needs to solve the issue of financing the deal”, reported the representative.

In his message it was also stated that by the end of 2018 Pakistan will pass the 10 Super Mwushshak planes for training which were ordered by official Baku.

If news reports are to be believed, Azerbaijan and Pakistan may sign an agreement in 2019 for the purchase of JF-17 Block 3 fighter jets. A representative of the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) told the media that “the configuration of JF-17 Block 3, which is of interest to Azerbaijan, is already at hand”. According to the representative, “the radar of the AESA system has been selected and in the near future, it will be tested”. The PAC representative said that the contract for this purchase can be signed in 2019. After this deal, relations between Baku and Islamabad are likely to reach new pinnacles.

They can fit heavy pay load of ATGMs. What's the disagreement there?
Azerbaijan doesn't want a dedicated bomber fleet. Article is written by a noob.

You got me wrong. What I mean to say is that it can be customize as per clients need. It is a Multi role fighter but if client wants its role to be more dedicated bomber it can be customize . I hope its clear

yes but it is just your assumptions, and Azerbaijan doesn't specify its requirements whether it need multi role jet or dedicated fighter bombers, and why the need dedicated fighter bomber if they will getting multi role jet 2+1 capability think logically @ZedZeeshan :enjoy:
