Many of my brothers on this forum are upset and wish that Pakistan goes bankrupt or defaults. Just remember that we ordinary people will have to bear these financial hardships, these elite or so-called leaders and their entire families along with their pets will fly first class to another country, where they will be staying there until things get sorted out and they will fly back as heroes.
Many on this forum still believe that NS,AAZ are politicians, that's what scares me. ppl still doesn't understand the difference between a leader and a looter. Pakistan is going to go through a ringer and people will forget about it. If our people were a little smart they would have been on the streets. Look around the world where nations gathered around and take these sorts of politicians out. Do we really think that people of this country will trash the establishment, the dacoits of our politicians?

That is what happens in most countries in such situations, nothing unusual for Pakistan.

If our people were a little smart they would have been on the streets.

Exactly, but there is another side as well. This corrupt system has programmed the majority of the people whose sole purpose of life is to make both ends meet. I am not saying its a bad thing but they have made such a system that people can't act on things like these. I mean if officials from many govt departments are found to be actively participating in political situations, tenure can be in trouble. I mean just look at some 2200+ veterans whose pensions are withheld just for speaking against the policies. These political placements are the main problem aside from thousands of other issues.

Well, those in government and military service must abide by all the applicable laws or pay the price. After all, the system knows how to effectively quench any dissent against it. Who would want to give up such power and privilege voluntarily? And if the people cannot force any change, then of course it will continue as it has for decades.

If the country defaults, the masses should mobilise to all exit points (airports, ports, border crossings) and ensure no exit for the crooks. But that's probably just wishful thinking on my part. AAZ is a clever chap and got the next flight to Dubai as he knew what was coming.
