April 22 , 2015,SPA -- Heads of Staff of the armies of the Arab League member states stressed the need for joint collective work to find solutions to the issues of the Arab region and the importance of the formation of a joint Arab force to enable the Arab countries to deal effectively with the current challenges.

They stressed, in a press statement issued after the conclusion of their first meeting here Wednesday, at the headquarter of the Arab League, the need to address the crises that erupt in the region,

The meeting concluded with a call to form a high-level team under the supervision of the Arab Chiefs of Staff to examine all aspects related to this topic. This team will hold its meeting in the next few weeks and will present its results to a future meeting of the Arab chiefs of staff.

I'm guessing Egypt will contribute most personnel to this joint force.

I guess if they do manage to unite for once that would be an achievement. I like to think Pakistan indirectly played a role in their unity with the refusal.

Syria and Iraq are two founding members of the Arab league and they are staunch allies of Iran. Without them, there cannot be a legitimate Joint Arab Force.

I don't think Egypt will contribute. Sisi is a dictator.
