Kiren Aziz and Peter McDonough's paper suggests that anti-Americanism in the 1970s was ripe in many Arab countries due to the United States’ single-minded support for Israel. This nature of anti-Americanism finally made its way into Pakistani society during the Z.A. Bhutto regime (1972-77), especially when Bhutto started to expand his ‘Islamic Socialism’ doctrine at the international level by consolidating relations with various radical Muslim states and Arab countries.

Note the close association between Z.A.B.'s rejection of Israel's legitimacy followed by his promotion of anti-Americanism, socialism, and religious intolerance.

one way to analyse it but 50% of the blame goes to america itself they didnt have to poke into everything
US can manipulate your political set up any level.
They have even best soft power tools.Look at your avatar.
Tony Stark aka Iron Man.A culturak icon of US and its supremacy.
This is why they still rule the entire world. They will do any thing without any shame to maintain their supremacy. It is up to the other nations and leaders whether they are ready to stand up sgainst them or not.

Anti Americanism in Pakistan is a direct result of US's imperialist foreign policy towards Pakistan. They killed 2 of our heads of state, pushed us into two bloody wars, two rounds of sanctions and six years worth of drone strikes.....who in their right mind would expect us to have a positive opinion of the US?

You can stick that aid up your nose. Pakistan has never requested aid from the US. If it was up to us we wouldn't allow these people to have a proper embassy in our land. United States gives bribes to Pakistani power circles to keep them loyal to its international interests. Almost all Pakistanis except the beneficiaries of USAid are against the US bribes. Why doesn't the US just cut aid to Pakistan?

Lolz some arguments on this thread remind of a time when all "terrorists" in bollywood muvees were whiteys -"foreign terrorist" with the dual agendas of bombing vegetable markets and raping ugly women. :P

China is not an alternative to the US, and vice versa..each have their own role in their relationship vis -a vis pakistan
.Having said that, make no mistake in putting US on top of China,

The global relevance of each country, sorts any rank related questions.

I will never forgive the USA for supporting dictators like Ayub Khan and Zia ul Haq, not because I have some sympathy for our "democratic" class but because of their individual actions. What Ayub Khan did to Fatima Jinnah (rh), and what Zia ul Haq did to introduce sectarian bonfires in Pakistan.

Why did the "democratic" USA support these people? I have never heard a convincing reasoning to justify their support.
