I don't care about Hinduism. I don't care about Islam. Of course I have my opinions on both. But this post is not about that.

I believe that the situation leading up to 1947 and that today are an evolutionary continuum that is not yet done. But things have changed.

The Muslims who were a power in 1947 have gone increasingly downhill in impact. There are a number of reasons for this. Pakistan. The baggage of partition. The perception of other Indians. Their own ghettoization and community indrawing. Their lack of leadership. Their readiness to be used as pawns rather than actually find their own voice and space. Their lack of investment in education. Radicalization. The vicious cycle of the downward spiral of poverty and explosion in impoverished uneducated numbers. These have all contributed.

But the 90s were their last throw of the dice in terms of actually violently challenging the Hindus. The day Dawood burnt Mumbai and left for Pakistan, the die was cast. The Hindus knew it was their time. And they put their foot on the neck to crush it once and for all. Advani started his yatra. The Mandir. And then Godhra.

I believe the Muslims are finished as far as being a threat to you guys. MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOUR SANGH TOP LEADERSHIP KNOWS IT.

The are milking a dry teat. And whipping up emotions across the country to consolidate what has always been a naturally fractured Hindu vote (natural to India as a land and a civilization of hundreds of kingdoms and peoples and cultures). There was no pan Hindu term or even identity till the British came and called you Hindoos and the other biggest group the Mohameddans. In spite of which, you never once till the 90s coalesced as one entity.

That changed in the 90s. But the BJP and its Sanghi fountainhead still got only one shot of leading the country and pushing their worldview. Then they got into a war. Then the got booted out.

The BJP learned its lesson. Then. They realised that India was not yet ready for the type of pan Hindu identity that they envisaged. That their founding fathers envisaged. And probably would never be. So they softened their stance on Hindutva. Gave it an inclusive benevolent and benign cultural spin. And started milking Modi's Gujarat record for economy and development. With the implied promise of a Hindu strongman who could and would put the Muslims in place when and if the time came. And then they simply rode the imploding Congress gray train to a landslide victory.

A landslide they got because of non traditional BJP voters. The Indian swing vote. The only previous time such a victory was seen was with Rajiv Gandhi riding a similar wave of non traditional Congress swing voters.

Now coming to the topic of Ambedkar and Dalits and how it fits into this analysis and what I believe is really actually happening. Which is a whole lot bigger and far more damaging than the traditional Hindu Muslim narrative.

Pot, I believe we are in the throes of a class war. I believe this war started on somewhat of a level footing (comparatively, civilizationally speaking) with Independence and the constitutional empowerment that Ambedkar provided. But the Indian elite were not ready or willing to give up. So while things changed institutionally, things on the ground changed much slower, when and if at all. The resentment built up. Because now there were tools and safeguards. But no results.

The dalit movement of course was hijacked politically. Many people made empires on it. A lot of money was made by many. Not all dalits. But equally a creamy layer arose among the Dalits. This as literally the story of Hinduism in action. Millennial evolution compressed into decades.

I believe we are in the throes of an epochal rejuvenation, realignment, reformation of Hinduism.

While this might be an INDIAN class war, one cannot ignore the fact that due to the fact that Hindus make up 80% of all Indians, this essentially is a reformist revolution withing Hinduism. One that is not going to end peacefully. One that is spiralling. And might soon be out of control. THIS IS A HINDU WAR. This is not, and has not for some time been a HINDU MUSLIM WAR.

And the BJP and the Sangh are fanning the flames. And other parties like the Congress are as well. And it is going to burn India in unimaginable ways. Across ethnicity and race and language. Something the Muslims could never have done to you. And never managed in a thousand years.

Muslims need to be shown their place. I am against Hinduwadis. But Muslims behave as if they own India. They need to be humbled.

A religious civil war in India is a must.

There is no such thing as Hindu civil war, there are Khattar Hindus in Dalits as well.

Hindus not like Muslims or Christians. The whole ideology is based on give and take and tolerance. Smaller kingdoms always existed but people always belonged to Bharat Varsha a larger entity , today’s India.

The change happening is good for India, India is rising to reclaim its past glory and it is natural phenomena.

many migrants be it Parsis or Jews or early Christians believed that they are safe in this land dominated by Hindus. I think this land will remain the same.

All Muslim radical groups fighting and butchering each other are all also very kattar ....

The British and the Irish were very kattar Christians ....

The Persians (present day Parsis) had ancient trade links with the Indians and the Chinese.

When the Arabs invaded, with the fall of the Byzantines, the way overland west was blocked. Otherwise Greece was a natural destination. Considering much of Persian Mithraic theology was the state religion there. Alongside Christianity.

The sons of the Emperor and their people did indeed flee and set up the Persian court in exile in China.

The Parsis could have taken the longer (and tougher, but less dangerous) established trade route to China. The advantage being that the fire would have been transported over land, as our rituals require.

But India was the land of the Hindus. Who also worshiped fire. So the decision was to brave the much more dangerous sea route to Gujarat. The Hindu Kush passes being uncrossable for large parts of the year. Plus the Persians had a Charbahar type setting for centuries in Gujarat. Gujarat was NOT an alien land for us as most Indians assume. Visions of wide eyed pilgrims getting off the boats.

We had been doing trade via that route and those ports for centuries. Millennia even.

It was (and till recently remains) the natural choice.

Cheers, Doc

Yes exactly, India is very near and safe for any religion. Today's India is no different.
Can you tell me if the same is true for any christian country or Islamic one?

The recent attacks on Muslims in the west, has shown the world how secular the western govts are.

Khattar in the sense, I mean they also consider themselves as Hindus and do not fight wars against Hindus.

The Muslims around the world are not my concern.

The US now houses as many Parsis as India does.

Yet out of the 9 major fires, one is in Iran and 8 are in India.

There is not a single Atash Bahram in Karachi, which after Bombay was the second Parsi capital of undivided India.

Cheers, Doc

I tried a lot to find some faults and had some... but mostly you are correct...

I live in a Muslim majority area and most of my father's friend are Muslim... from my personal experience all I can say that MUSLIMS are more radical and "kattar" then others...

I find Jains and Parsis more tolerant... Sikh are also very tolerant, they got irritated by Muslims only...

I have seen several Hindus who keep waiting for 00:00:01 on Tuesday night, so that they could eat non-veg and drink on WEDNESDAY...
Similarly I have seen several Muslims who drink alcohol and do "Tauba" after that...

They already have. For centuries, Indian Rajput Kings defeated Arab and Turkik invaders. It was only after they fell that Muslims were able to rule north india under the Delhi Sultanate and Mughal Empire. Even then they were never able to conquer the majority of India for significant amounts of time. Aurangzeb himself was humiliated several times by a small tribe called the Marathas, who foiled his dream of conquering the Decca. Aurangzeb would die knowing that his Empire would fall. Just decades after his death, the once-mighty Mughal Empire was turne in to a figurehead in Delhi, and Marathas had conquered almost the entire subcontinent, from Bengal to Peshawar. Although they were kind to Muslims who sided with them, they were brutal to those who were not. The Marathas plundered, looted, and destroyed almost every Muslim town in modern Pakistan that did not surrender, and made Muslims fear for their lives. During partition, India got many Muslim majority areas in UP, West Gujarat, and Assam, and we made those Muslims literally run for their lives. THeir are many parts of the country that are now Hindu and Sikh majority but were once Muslim majority until the Muslims there were kicked out and killed. During partition, millions more Muslims were killed than Hindus. Not to mention, we captured the majority of a Muslim majority state. Pakistan attempted to capture it not one but two, nor three but four times, and each time we kicked their a**es and humiliates them, making them the laughingstock of the world. Today, We outnumber them, are bigger than them, and a re a global power with one of the world's largetst economies and most powerful militaries. And wahts even better is we a re free tod do whatever we want to Muslims in Kashmir, including kill or r*** Muslim Kahsmiris. Hopefully in a few decades we will finish our plan to "ethnically cleasne" Kashmir as some Paksitanis say we are doing, and make it a homeland for Hindus again. And there is NOTHING Pakistanis can do as we kill their terrorists and Kashmiri Muslims in general on a daily basis

And no, I do not hate Muslims, but some Islamist posters here really need a reality check.
And we eliminated Hinduism from Pakistan and Bangladesh. LOL.

Talking big on a Pakistani forum? Are you that stupid?

And we Muslims ruled India for a very long time. lol.

You ruled north india for about the same time as we ruled you , so looks like we're even. And you're right, your ancestors willingly surrendered to the central asian invaders, wiping out hinduism from Pakistan and bd, although we took away the latter from you and turned it into our satelite state(what you and some nationalistic bdeshis claim). So why aren't you satisfied? After all, you got the mighty indus land superior to the Gangetic Plains, right? The subcontinent would be much better if you would learn to accept what you were given. To be fair, our side can be blamed for that to some extent.

Anyway, you cant deny that the mughals failed to convert the vast majority of the subcontinent, only the fringes. And hindu influence and culture still remains strong in se asia to this day, including in worlds biggest muslim country. so I would say we were pretty successful globaly.

Anyway, i know that post was harsh, but i wrote it because I was fed up of the garbage some other members were posting. And nothing i said was incorrect. Dont take it personally. Good day.

I wouldn't praise Ambedkar too much. Ambedkar was a staunch critic of Hinduism.
I do have many criticisms of Ambedkar, but than again nobody is perfect. everyone has flaws. cheers.

And we eliminated Hinduism from Pakistan and Bangladesh. LOL.

Talking big on a Pakistani forum? Are you that stupid?

And we Muslims ruled India for a very long time. lol.

You need a reality check.

Muslims certainly ruled some part of India but to say "we Muslims" is funny. Who ruled were invaders and conveyed Indian Muslims were their slaves. Like the decendent of Babur said to owasi that people like him were the slaves of their ancestor. I do not know how people can take pride in being slave of invaders?
