The company will be Pakistan’s first home textile company to enter the brand licensing space in international markets. The project is likely to open doors for the same companies in the established markets as well as for the other textile producers based in Pakistan.
Although both exports and handsome income inflows will be received via these orders, the expansion of the local value chains could result from the fulfillment of such an order, including the generation of employment and local businesses.

Areesh bhai increase in exports seems a consistent trend now.
A systematic economic restructuring leads to gains in the long run. yes, we have had some difficult years since PTI took over but a leader whose a visionary will sacrifice the present to secure the future. That is what IK is. People dont see this yet but IK's economic policies and many other initiatives are the first steps towards launching us in to the future. I pray that IK wins for the next two terms. If these bloody sharif's and Bhutto's take over, we'd be done for.

Yrue. Hopefully this is a long lasting trend
It could be long lasting only if we diversify our exports.

Textile export is a very competitive market. What actually happen is due to reduction in exchange rate Pakistani products become cheaper. In simple terms u can imagine the labor cost per unit to export customer has decreased from 160 dollars to 100 dollars. (Salaries in pkr are same but have actually reduced in dollar terms and so are the other expenses). Increase in export can be done this way but our people will get low paid salaries as the moment we increase salary we will become expensive again.

In short term and medium term we need jobs and exports so this strategy will work very well but we need to create value added export goods for uplifting per capita income of our people.

Government is targeting engineering goods and software but efforts r also required from private sector.
