It looks very well armed that is for sure.
1/32 scale models of TB2 and AKINCI, excerpt from Selçuk Bayraktar twitter account:
Which standoff weapons it will carried and what is the range of these (Turkish Standoff Weapons)??? may tens of kilometer in range, and it is suspected to be intercepted by Medium to long range SAMs/ Fighter jetsWell with standoff weapons some of its vulnerabilities could be alleviated I suppose and EW pods could likely be carried on hardpoints in the future.
SOM has a few hundred km range but you are correct the other missiles dont have as much range but conflicts dont happen in a vaccum there are other Turkish assets supporting the Akinci during conflict like Havasoj SOJ.Which standoff weapons it will carried and what is the range of these (Turkish Standoff Weapons)??? may tens of kilometer in range, and it is suspected to be intercepted by Medium to long range SAMs/ Fighter jets
1/32 scale model carry 4X TEBER LGK(LGB) 2xKGK(Wing-Asisted GK) and Som-J(mid range Cruise missile), and some other winged precision strike munitions on the outer pylons. If we calculate the guidance kits with MK-81s, this roughly means a minimum 1600kg(~3500lb) ammunition lifting need. According to published AKINCI specs last years, total payload cap given as 1350kg. IMO, this capacity can be reached by largely compromising the 24-hour flight time, or an efficiency inreasing over 20% has been achieved at the prototype level yet. The first would be a more realistic approach. There is no doubt that the model looks beautiful, but when these aircraft will carry SOM-J, It will likely flight with different payload combination because of mission types, anyway. It looks very well armed that is for sure.
