Wow wow hold your horses. Classic of ignorance being displayed by a typical western. Do you even knkw TTP aka Islamic state is being at war with afghan taliban right now? Do you even know there is no presence of afghan taliban in those areas where islamic state aka TTP operate ? Do you bloody even know afghanistan recently pardoned butucher of kabul hekmatyar gulbuddin ?

Brush up your knowkedge of current conflict and then start preaching with correct facts and figures. Whatever you are sprouting at = ttp has zero factual evidence in todays environment.

    Exactly,

Afghan Taliban and TTP are totally different elements.

    The TTP are bloody terrorists.

Afghan Taliban is a national movement in Afghanistan.

Do You deny that ANY Afghan Taliban has joined TTP?

Exactly why post a repeat of a previous post.

You can't prove otherwise either so this is a dead on arrival question.

The TTP and Afghan Taliban are both Islamist organizations.

The difference is that despite the US funding billions of $ to the ANA and ANP, it realized that the Kabul government would never be strong enough to establish its writ across large sections of the country, so they favored negotiations with them; as do Russia, Iran, China, UAE and other nations today.

Whereas, the same cannot be said of the TTP in Pakistan.

Both the TTP and Afghan Taliban employ similar, violent methods, and extremist/militant ideology.

But Afghanistan is full of militancy from all sides already, and Ghani has tried to bring Islamist Hekmetyar on his side as well.

    Thats the problem
It depends on which side of the border your are standing.if you are Pakistani side Then TTP are terrorist and Afgan taliban are not.if you are on Afghan side then Afghan taliban are terrorist and TTP are not.

The only solution is treating both groups as terrorists and working together to eleminate them.otherwise you can support AT and they will support TTP and there will be no peace in both countries.

If they are the same, why are world powers such as the US, China, Russia, Iran, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc have diplomatic contacts with the Afghan Taliban, but not with the TTP?

That is easy, just start with the leaders.

    Baitullah Mehsud Abdullah Mehsud.

    Both Taliban, then TTP.

You are avoiding the question, because You know I am right.

Baitullah mehsud was never part of the Taliban. And baitullah mehsud believed abdullah mehsud was a double agent, and did not trust him.

So if TTP has deplomatic relations with them will you treat TTP as a non terror group.

They don't have any, because they have no legitimacy, in Pakistan or otherwise.

And even though the Afghan Taliban are fundamentalists in the same light as the TTP, they enjoy legitimacy both inside Afghanistan, and in international diplomatic circles too.

When the US was bombing Afghan taliban ,they moved to tribal areas of Pakistan ,even their last leader was elected in pakistan..some countries have started or wanting to talk to them only in the last few years.you dint call them terrorist then.the reason they might talk is because these countries have stakes in Afghanistn and when they have stakes in Pakistan they will Talk to TTP as well.
Again i will ask again,if they start talking to TTP in a year or two will you say TTP is not a terrorist organisation.

The US never designated the Afghan Taliban as a terrorist group, only a few leaders:

    https://www.google.com/amp/abcnews....iban-terrorists-white-house/story?id=28588120

The TTP isn't in the same category.

If the TTP gained legitimacy inside Pakistan, then it would outside of Pakistan too. Otherwise it won't.

And the TTP will never gain legitimacy inside Pakistan.

The Afghan Taliban has legitimacy inside Afghanistan, that's why they have diplomatic contacts with international powers.

"After the death of Nek Mohammad, Baitullah was appointed as Mullah Omar's governor of the Mehsud tribe in a special ceremony attended by five leading Taliban commanders. One of them was Mullah Dadullah, who tried to kill (Afghan President) Hamid Karzai," says a top source in Pakistani intelligence."
