"I tell my political colleagues in FATA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, that you should not oppose the TTP. The TTP are the Taliban of our country. We will work with them to change the destiny of this country. " (Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai addresses a rally in Quetta)

This guy Achakzai is desperate to see Pakistan destroyed. He was completely frustrated when Afghan Taliban were taking control and when Amrullah Saleh / Ghani ran away. Now, he wants to take revenge by doing same with Pakistan. Him and PTMs are truly against Pakistan.

Well TTP was a Pashtun nationalist front in some ways - so maybe this is the angle he is coming with

It wasn't pashtoon "nationalist' front. It wasn't fighting for glory of people of KP. It was fighting for its own interpretation of Islam and to apply that interpretation on the lands of KP first and than Pakistan . So if you see TTP wasn't actually much "pro-Pathan" as it started its barbarism from the lands of Pathans, first destroyed our way of life, our cities and killed our people. You must be a child to think of TTP as "Pashtoon nationalist". Instead it was a religiously motivated terrorist organisation which had very little link to ethnicity except that . Majority of its foot soldiers were Pathan which is because its main roots and infrastructure was in Pashtoon built. Hence it was obvious. If a terrorist organisation is founded in Multan I am sure majority of its members will be saraiki, same for Lahore or Larkana...

Study

Jumat ud dawa,
Al zulfiqar
Punjabi Taliban

And brainstorm about the ethnicity of foot soldiers of these organizations

Only in Pakistan, I wish we can make some concentration camps and put all these there.

Long process which will bring sanctions and much criticism.. instead what about those KGB and CIA techniques of killing someone in a way that looks like a natural death or an accident ? ????

I don't "think" it's a Pashtun nationalist front
It's all over Twitter, internet spaces bunch of
Pashtun nationalists are supporting TTP as Thier kin or something

PM of Pakistan in his interview (he must got some intelligence briefings to come up with this opinion) called it Pashtun nationalist/seperatist whatever front

Now this pretty left wing guy saying this...

At the beginning yes it probably was a genuine islamist movement (butchering of ANP for exp)- but now at this moment in time

It has evolved into yes an islamist organization with Pashtun nationalist undertones sometimes even overtones

Hopefully someone following current TTP can correct me or you and fill us in...

But if achakzai says something pro-TTP
You should look ethno-nationalist angle too- that guy is a genuine POS

I don't care if he is a ethno-nationalist or not but the way he insulted Punjabi in Lahore of all places was disgusting and showed his genuine racism

If some dudes on Twitter and our emotional PM who "don't write his speeches" call it Pashtoon nationalist this make TTP a Pashtoon nationalist ?? Tell me why they tortured locals (majority of their crimes were conducted against people of EX-fATA and KP)??

1. If you shaved your beard.

2. If you wore gold rings.

3. If you didn't prayed 5 times in Masjid.

4. If you didn't paid them "Chanda" meant for "jihad".

5. If you refused their Islamist system. Their only demand was implementation of shariah in whole KP and Pakistan..

6. If you were found working for state (as state was against their movement and were chasing hurdles to shariah implementation )

7. Tortured those ladies through lashes who were found doing zinah, went to bazar without a male companion or went to school for teaching or studying.

8. Blasted bombs in major bazars of KP cities because they were serving ladies as well as males in a single bazar ,?

All these give you vibes of Pashtoon nationalist organisation ?? Mashallah

Anyone said that they're not POS's?, MQM damaged Muhajirs the most too?

My simple thing is what would some Pseudo cammunist like Achakzai see in allying with TTP?- what is he gaining?

Waziristan is pretty big on ethno-nationalism and is also a TTP stronghold, recruiting ground
There are too many connections to discount this angle

Whatever man. Your initial statement doesn't make any sense and you will definitely learn to understand it in sometime.
