    And all 8 rules were violated with glee and in abundance by invaders in the past.It seems these instructions were no more important to them than tissue paper.

    Well they didn't engage in mass scale slavery,bachabazi,brutal genocides of civilian population.They did sometimes destroy temples that were under protection of rival kings though.In the case of the invaders though,it seems the words of mohammad were worthless to them,and they just used his creed as an excuse for their savagery.

    Basically the rules of war laid by Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him).

    No doubt these are rules to follow but majority of the time most of these rule will be broken.

    War has always been savage you cant stop a person who would do anything to win at all costs.

    Recently 90yr old religious scholar who was arrested by punjab police died due to bad nonhuman treatment which is totally unIslamic and govt will be answerable of such death to ALLAH ALMIGHTY .In Pakistan our security forces and govt not follow these instructions which is very bad

    Those 8 rules would kind of defeat the point of invasion in the first place...there's no point in following them if you are an invader.

    Slavery is made legal in hinduism by introducing lower casts where the upper casts treat the lower ones as their slaves and you yourself cant see because you have accepted this system. Basically exploitation is legalised.

    Liar. There's no evidence that they conducted mass forced conversions (which isn't even physically possible).

    @Horus

    Salamu Alaikum

    Who came up with the idea to make @AUSTERLITZ a 'think tank'?

    I'm not a Muslim. How exactly am I qualified to give the context and interpretation of a hadith?

    The same way you dug out 1 out of tens of thousands of hadith....If you can dig out something to suit your purpose you can use the same search technology to learn about its background before presenting it!

    Just like any educated human would know the topic they wish to discuss before jumping in blind and picking topics out of context

    Being a non Muslim is not an issue...Being ignorant is

    You will see engineers and call center operators here debating about history and military professions...You just showed your American education is not better than one from half way across the world :agree:

    I don't understand the context from the source I quoted, nor its interpretation and application. It's considered a holy text by Muslims, right? So my opinion doesn't count, it has to be explained to me by a Muslim.
