Yeah...We heard variations of this when the F-35 was in development. The jet defied Pierre Sprey, Air Power Australia, and assorted internet trolls who can barely tell the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver. The F-35 WILL survive these mishaps the same way my F-111 and F-16 passed theirs and became feared weapons for decades. Am glad that no Muslim countries bought it. When I was active duty, I learned that F-15 pilots routinely low barred Saudi pilots. I doubt that F-35 pilots would want to do the same for any Muslim pilot.:enjoy:

A few years ago you made a prediction that Su-57 project it "essentailly dead". You were proven wrong. So stop playing smart. You are not smart.

Am not going to turn this into a Su-57 debate, but a few yrs ago I said that and now the Su-57 will not deploy until a few yrs from now. Supposedly 2025 or possibly even later. We are looking at 20 yrs after the F-22 and 10 yrs after the F-35, then not counting the US '6th gen' fighter currently under development faster than anyone expected. This is like coming out with a bolt action rifle as the other guy deployed the machine gun. So yeah...The Su-57 is essentially dead.

For every mishap we had, US aviation made thousands advances. Your China have not been a non-contributor since the dawn of aviation, so the real joke is on you.
America won't even exist anymore in a few years time. Whites will be totally outnumbered by hispanics and blacks so the real joke is on you lol

You said that Su-57 project is essentially dead while it is not. Su-57 is in production and was introduced. Work is ongoing on Su-57M with izdeliye 30 engine which will give Su-57 better supercruise capabilities. I don't think F-35 can supercruise. If it can't it is not fully fledged 5th generation fighter jet.

Accounting for the fact that a British F35 went missing in its adventure in SCS and that F35's have not had many operations and crashes flying from carriers, the two crashes came out more significant than the numbers -- just saying, in the same SCS area.
The British F-35B went down in the Med, but a Japanese F-35A went down off the Japanese coast.

BTW, this was a F-35C. So at least one of each of the three variants has gone down. Hope they really do learn something to prevent these kinds of mishaps.

Doubt the PLAN will get to this plane before the navy fishes it out. Too much is on the line, it wouldn’t surprise me if Lockheed Martin pays for a savage ship to go get it ASAP.

The problem with the people on this forum in specific and on the internet in general is: impatience.

There is no way to learn from any mishap unless the investigation is METHODICAL, a word either ignored or unknown. Being methodical mean time consuming compounded by the environment where the mishap occurred. So to satisfy their impatience and ego, the ignorant spews their ignorance the way a laxative work its way thru the body. But of course, no surprise that their countries contributed nothing to aviation because being methodical is largely unknown to them in the first place.

How many sensors use a F35 to a successful carrier landing?

How many of those sensors will be vulnerable to electronic warfare by the Chinese? e.g: any RF communication like GPS-mil can be always easily jammed, and any GNSS position system like GPS-mil will be always vulnerable to spoofing attacks in replay attacks.

Poor kid, if only Maverick was there to chase away the 'bad' guy & guide him to land.
Wonder who was the 'bad' guy this time.

Nah, we just have fun laughing at America's pathetic attempts to grasp onto its fading hegemony.

yes a bad loser does this kind of stuff

F35 has logged more than 400,000 flying hours and suffered less than dozen crashes

meanwhile Copy Cat J15 from Casino Carrier less than 400 hours and 4 crashes

so statistically speaking F35 is 800 times safer than J15 Copy Cat (clue is in the name)

thanks come again

1. All of the data you gave about the J-15 is fake.
2. I don't really care whether or not F-35s sink, at the end of the day some carriers DF-21D victims sailing around doesn't mean anything. If it comes to hostilities, China will punch America's teeth down its throat.
