No clue.
Being called an “ullu” was always considered a gali in India. It was later that I learnt that Ullu is a fine bird and a smart animal.

But I still wouldn’t call anyone an “Ullu” or myself addressed as such, since it would mean derogatory.

Yeah, that’s also true. It is said that Ullu can sight afterlife and an Ullu seen at a location is considered a bad omen.
These days it is better to see an Ullu than so many other things.😀

Often brings bad luck or death if heard in your vicinity hooting.

Howling dog that won’t shut the fakk up means owner will die soon.

now where are those jackassess who claimed .."we dont care about Pakistan" blah blah

the fact is clear deep in side your miserable selves you always want Pakistan..
Yeah, sure, if they declare me Nur-ud-Din Muhammad Saleem aka Saleem ud-Din-Jahangir the III, I will represent both Hindus and Muslims because I will be Hindu blood from grandma's side and Mulsim blood from Grand pa side.
See that was such an easy problem to solve for those retards who dream of reunification.

Shanti baba.. :)

The fact that you think owls are smart proves you are an ullu yourself. They are a dumb animal or bird.

And you thought that all because gora sahib thought they were smart.

Aur chupo...
They're very adept at what they do, apex predators, the stealth fighters of the woods in the night. They're among the "smartest" of the birds in a real world sense, birds themselves, not being known to be super smart generally.. it's where the term "bird brain" comes from.. their brains are literally small.

Also widely considered a symbol of wisdom across cultures, if not explicitly combat prowess like the eagles and hawks etc.

Saying the owl is "dumb" is just plain retarded, sure, I suppose venomous snakes are also "scared" of humans and others when they scurry away at the first sight of/ground vibration from and stay hidden.

Thats because of religion, and Pakistanis wanting to disassociate themselves from anything Indian or Hindu. It's not that huge of a gap as you make it out to be, you sound bitter.
I am not bitter on this. There are lots of threads by @PAKISTANFOREVER telling how different Pakistani are from Indians. His favourite line is "Pakistan is very similar to China. Pakistan is totally different from India". He even has some genetic charts to prove that.

Owl is considered sign of "scholarliness" in west. Many universities and schools have owl as their mascot.

"The 67th Special Operation Squadron (67th SOS), nicknamed the Night Owls, is an active United States Air Force unit operating the Lockheed MC-130J Commando II."
