The points about justice for everyone, ending corruption, investing money in people, employment, security and make them feel like a true citizen of Pakistan are very valid points, i 100% agree with you.

If people blame army, let them, im talking to you, not them. Army and PPP don't get along, and even PML(N). Infact Military stays out of most matters of Civil setup as you have seen after Musharraf era, no more topples. The corrupt in army are caught and punished, which has made headlines also. I feel in current scenario, your accusations on Army are not valid.

Yeah sarcasm fails sometimes, life i guess.

I am thinking of opening a thread on DHA someday to explain the whole process how it started, land acquisition, allotment, previous owners saga etc. But even now DHA-Army Officer-Politican nexus has nothing to do with security situation of Pakistan.

If you are talking about offense before defense, in terms of Ops taking place, yes those are being conducted.

Bro let me tell you, we can't blame army for everything.

We can blame army if tomorrow war happens and they run away. We already tested our forces on 27th remember? How they made us proud all over the world? This was their responsibility and they served it in the most effective way.

Inside Pakistan, responsibility less more on government and local police, other law enforcement agencies, and courts. Politicians should have enabled our internal law enforcement agencies in such a manner that no one dared to do any thing inside the country. They failed... Then come our courts, which should have provided Swift Justice to all the affected people by sentencing the criminals and terrorists.. they failed.. then come the law enforcement agencies... And less is said about them the better.

Our security forces not only effectively manage the borders, but also provide internal security, act as judges (because judges are too coward to send the terrorists to jail or to gallows) and provided consulting services to government by participating in JITs, foreign affairs, internal security etc etc.

We have to give credit where it is due. Currently, this is the only institution which is not only effectively performing its own responsibilities, but also performing others responsibilities.

Regarding DHA, more than the military guys, it's us awam who has benefited from these projects. If I have money, my first priority will be to buy a property in DHA.

Do you think that by involving in housing schemes, Pakistan army lagged behind in the performance of their responsibilities? Heck they are doing others work and we are still blaming them. In Pakistan, an 11 years old girl is raped and people don't question police, people start criticising army.

Had army managed the government affairs, the first ones to kick are the media guys.. nowadays, every Tom, Dick and Harry on media is blaming army for anything that goes wrong in the country... And army is acting within the constitutional boundaries by not taking the law into their hands and going after the defaming guys through proper channels.

We have come a long way. This is not an era of yahya Khan.. please start giving credit to army where it's due.

Very balanced and good analysis. Alas some people will blame the army for everything. You can’t bring them out of this delusion.

The solution is as clear as day --- but requires the right amount of vision, audacity and perseverance. I have presented these ideas numerous times to the concerned quarters and they are always appreciated but never implemented. It's a sorry mix of putting career over country (risk aversion), lack of imagination and lack of testicular fortitude.

I've mentioned them so many times that I am honestly exhausted now. Maybe the others can chime in. Peace.

    why blame army?

i am no fan of.politicians but army has not let political setup run smoothly! they have been interfering in political matters since independence they have been controlling politicians like puppet masters so why blame political setup for fked up state of our country!

you say internal security if jon of police and politicins should facilitat police fine because they are corrupt mfer who dont want a good system that can hold them accountable but what about all the coup periods when Saint CAOS were presidents and had total and absolute control over Pakistan why dint they fix system why dint they stop corruption? infact i posted a thread just yesterday how Mushraf after becominfg president legalized the illegal qabza of dha khi costing awaaam billions! how is that case different from bahria town case? hai koi pochnay walla inko?

awaam ko bawakoof banaya howa hai remeber to do one choori you have to be in bed with many politiicans and you encourage them to do biggger choori! Zardari classic example hai!

i have no issue with dha but issue is dha ka land qabza ka ho awaam keh wasi maffad may! dha khi apna swerage untreated sea may dumb kar day even after court ordering them not to lakin awaam ka wasi maffad hai! dha aik mafia ki turhan run karay issue nai awaam ka wassi maffad hai!

border fence na karo dha banna do zyada secure hojaye ga mulk!

sir to cover one choori you have to bribe many, accommodate many! and your one choori encourages other to become fearless and do bigger choori! hence the evil nexus of pindi and zardari!

and we have become so weak internally because of injustice , corruption that its easy for external force to manipulate our people and use them against our country!

Thanks for referring. I would be very brief. One thing, we must realize, is that this terrorism is not a simple issue, but a very complex one. I believe that our security Establishment, by and large, knows the problem, its complexities and its potential solutions; but there are severe limitations and constraints, virtually in all the related spheres including political, economic, diplomatic and military. We must not forget the nexus of India, Israel and US, against Pakistan, for which we have no ready solution. Consequently, this terrorism issue would not end very soon and we shall be prepared to take its burnt for quite some time.

Yar the evil nexus you are mentioning does not exist, i wrote the link as a reference to use as less words as possible to describe to you.
I have mentioned already that Army has stopped toppling and interfering. If army topples politician, then army is bad. If army doesn't topple politician, even then army is bad. You are trying real hard to highlight DHA as an issue, which in reality does not exist. Next, you are trying to highlight DHA in this thread, where as this thread has no connection with Army neither with DHA, and by mentioning DHA again and again you are just venting out for unknown reasons (unknown yet can be assumed). You are going in circles without a direction, using a medium which has no link with what you are talking about. This solves nothing.

Thank you for the article as it proves my point which i have been repeating over and over again in previous posts.
Where is the connection ? i can't find Zardari's or any Politcian's name or favours being given as connection, in the entire article. This means your allegations are baseless and mere assumptions. you are trying really hard to cook up a conspiracy theory, but Mate its not working, let it go.
