sorry for the delayed reply..i read your comments on democracy and how it was meant to counter the flaws of monarchies or dictatorships but it has failed see i am of the opinion that we as humans are greedy and power will corrupt us so we will always need a system to keep us in check now the problem is what system in democracy we have humans to keep humans in check

,so thats a flaw as humans are greedy and easily corruptible so this system will always fail...now IMO thats why we need religion/faith (any religion) a concept of afterlife a belive that we will be held accountable for our actions by higher being (god) and every action will have consequences and a concept of reward and punishment (Heaven and hell) is what keeps us in check and motivated...

IMO we as human no matter how much we progress we are like Donkey and we need carrot or stick to keep us in check or motivated!

Adding religion as part of the government to deter ppl from being corrupt wouldn't work in the same sense as adding laws(to punish corruption) doesn't work

It only works if ppl themselves are God fearing and abide by morality proving to be honest/righteous/good leaders...but then again by that reasoning they can also do the same without religion involved and just abide by the rules/laws and be non corrupt.

In my opinion it has nothing to do with whether or not religion is involved bcuz humans simply can't be trusted to always do good and make the right choices. Even if u get one good leader(due to religion or some other reason) what's to guarantee that the next one would also be good? What's to guarantee that his/her greed won't kick in?

The only solution is to take human nature into account. Just like when u go to the zoo and u see a tiger that's caged. This is bcuz we know it's nature and took necessary steps to prevent any harm that the tiger can cause...just like that power must be limited(separation of powers, limited terms, checks and balances) bcuz power can go to our heads(as evident by countless monarchs and dictators in history).

The second thing that hasn't happened yet anywhere in the world is to break up the marriage of money and power. Rich ppl/corporations/lobbies have a great influence on politicians. They basically bribe them(through campaign contributions and other such ways) into doing their bidding. In the end the politician ends up being a tool serving only a narrow segment of the society.

Besides stopping the inflow of money from corporations/rich ppl/etc into the pockets of politicians/bureaucrats/etc...we also would need a way to stop the outflow of government money from the government into the pockets of politicians/bureaucrats/etc. There's various ways they try to fill their pockets
...it's not at all an easy task.

It took humans thousands of years to limit the power of leaders and put checks and balances. Next step should be the inflow/outflow(into the pockets of these leaders) of money. It would require an immense amount of thinking and reforms.

and my point that religion can keep one in check was based on assumption that leader follows the teaching of religion and is righteous and just!

and yes without religion there cant be law principles or standards that can make one a better leader or a person.no religion teaches injustice cruelty all religions teaches one to be just kind and god fearing
