And perhaps you'd like to read everything from my first post in the thread.
    Hypocrite bit came earlier too.
And the question is of the system, and not of practicing faith in a particular society.

I'm not sure who banned you or why, presumably they would need to be the person who removes the ban. Also, I am generally curious as to how you can equate secularism to things it does not stand for while living in a fairly secular society. Do you feel marginalised in any way?

Please direct me to a post where I have 'equated secularism to things it does not stand for'?

As for this (UK) secular society, it has a lot of sickness too ... and being a Pakistani and muslim you can see the marginalisation relatively clearly.

I can't see any marginalisation, please give me some examples. How exactly are you being marginalised? I am genuinely curious, this isn't the usual bickering that's on the forum, this is for my own knowledge.

May I ask how old you are? I am 41.

I have lived in all white towns and worked with north and south etc. I have worked for many companies and know well enough how the white man thinks and operates. From business deals to working in small and large corporations. Of course there are good people but there is serious underlying racism in this society.

and the paranoia in police ...

Before beard became fashionable, a Pakistani guy going for a good corporate job interview wearing a nicely kept beard was like blowing all chances irrespective of being fully qualified for the role.

London Mayor - had he been fully bearded, no way he would have won. Small town mayors etc yes, but not London.

Thanks for being more specific, I can't quote personal background in detail here, especially as a mod, we're to keep a lid on our details, I'd be more than happy to tell you in a PM.

Also, as for the rest of your posts, I appreciate you being open enough to list examples. And I accept that all the issues you've listed are real problems and I perceive them too. However, where I would disagree with you is relating any of these things to secularism. It has nothing to do with them.

I'm not sure how racism or anti-Muslim prejudice could be fuelled by an ideology that's purpose is NOT to judge people on such petty aspects of their background. In my experience, the more liberal, the more secular, the less nationalistic Brits tend to be far less racist, far less prejudiced, including the kind that voted for the current London mayor.

Brits are not as bad as the Europeans.

Coming back to the systems. Major threat to Western systems is Islam and more recently Confucius. It can be difficult to comprehend but this is actually the case. Western scholars know Islam better than we do, and they fully understand the threat to them (of their own public revolting).

And I do not mean wars by that. A true Islamic system rising anywhere in the world is something the West will not tolerate. When such a system is formed, they will see their publics revolt.

A "true" Islamic system will remain a myth until and unless there is one unified version of Islam itself, which is highly unlikely to ever be possible.

I've yet to see a 'true Islamic system' too. As a matter of fact, I see far more backward systems claiming to be the true Islamic ones than any that have been good.

Iran is theocracy and KSA is monarchy.

If you want to see a decent and effective Sharia system, visit Malaysia. They have a small muslim majority and they've struck a fine balance with Sharia laws. It is not ideal but it's a decent example.
