According to Geeta there are five evils " Rup(beauty), Rash(taste), Gandh(smell), Sparsh(touch), Sabda(word) these are subjects and which are creating evils when its needs in excess. the five evils are "Kam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh and Ahankar" According to geeta these are affect your smruti, and hence your buddhi and hence affect you.

I cant convince u properly Geeta is small but great than all shastra, vedas, etc.
