This year we wont have so much time, we will be leaving Wednesday Evening and plan to drive straight to Astore, be there by Thursday night.
Friday morning we go to deosai and most probably will have to leave on Saturday afternoon to start our journey back. It will be a quick trip. Rattu wont be possible :(

So about tents, you also confirm that there wont be any accommodation in Deosai and that we will need to rent tents from Astore?

Perfect. When I get home from work today I'll send you a pretty detailed msg. Would it be ok if I skipped some places on the way to make the trip easier for you? I know the feeling when you wanna see everything but trust me, experiencing one place more thoroughly is always more rewarding. Say we focus on the Hunza to Khunjerab stretch? Also, would this be your first time up north?

Asalam Alikum...how are you? A gora asked me this:-

Are there any places in Pakistan where people do not have to do much work to survive?
If I was content eating molluscs and wild plants, where would you recommend I go?

Please help me answer this....His comment went over my head...difficult english :)

Never thought about it but I believe any moderate temperature region will suffice. So Swat, Southern Kohistan, Kaghan Valley and the Neelum valley seem like good options with plenty of wild flora and fauna, water and subsistence agricultural opportunities.

Next would be the coastal regions where fresh water is available. One can just fish for food there and the weather isn't too bad. But tbh, self subsistence is insanely hard anywhere in the world.

I believe, the last concordia trip we talked about was one of my friend's, he was looking for people to join him. I've been there twice, but both times couldnt hit K2's base camp due to stupid reasons. That's the one I still need to make happen.
