CGTN is waste of money I like their documentaries but its s..it at soft power I remember watching it as CCTV 9 in the 2000s when it came to to US
An optimistic scenario would be China can piggyback off of RT.
Nah you have to form your own narratives I mean improvement I saw was the whole Trish Regan episode she is popular Fox host here who got bitch slapped by the CGTN host need more of that
Those traitors end up unable to find a job abroad so they have to join Evangelical Churches and Falungong to get a hand out from the CIA to do their dirty work. Ethnic Chinese traitors badmouthing China is a huge industry.
Oh vey gib shekels
So HK is back in the news
I used to be those edgy pro axis types as a teen especially supporting germany and japan.
I was always pro PRC even younger I mean Paks are thought like two buds are PRC and Turkey besides it's an interesting country
China has a much more rich history than Japan to be honest. China influenced its neighbours due to it being first civilsation in the far east.
People's lifestyles are just different. It's hard to change it back. The article itself especially the first paragraph is full of baloney.
Of course but I wont be suprised if the CCP goes gung ho on promoting traditional culture and increasing birth rates to maintain grip on power
but the problem with all countries is the gen born in the 90s tend to be more liberal tho
If liberal refers to pro-USA, then definitely not. If liberal refers to decadence, then the problem exists everywhere.
Its both you have to connect the dots the US wants two things in the world radicals, and decadent slaves easy to control the world they despise nationalists of all kinds
Uyghurs in big cities how large are they populate
Hu Jiantao looked like Yankee puppy
He was ineffective as leader and let his Premier Wen run amok with corruption.
Xi was def leg up from him more assertive
Do you think China will revert back to communism or some form of socialism
China's economy is already a mix of state owned and private. It's just a matter of balance. That's what is officially known as "socialism with Chinese characteristics". We won't go back to banning private ownership of the means of production. It was never about ideology for China. It was just about getting industrialized as quickly as possible.
Deng Xiaoping vs Mao
Deng's reforms in the end were mixed. Capital stock was obviously accumulated. Manufacturing production increased. People's economic standards improved. Infrastructure was built. However, he let the corruption get way out of control.
In other words, Deng's reforms were an incomplete "economic revolution". It was Xi Jinping who brought the corruption under control and completed the "economic revolution" from state owned economy to market economy.
Deng also allowed to much westernization and materialism to fester
Are the Hakkas considered the Jews of China
I've heard gypsies of China being used with Hakka before. I have a good Hakka friend who told me this.
"Gypsies" in the sense that they historically migrated from somewhere else (within China). That was hundreds of years ago. The comparison ends there. They are plain vanilla Han Chinese. The guy who told you Hakka are the Gypsies of China probably has no idea what Gypsies are like.
He meant only by migration/traveller context, nothing else. Of course nothing directly applies beyond that. Of course they are Han Chinese. Deng Xiao Peng was Hakka I believe.
I say be careful in importing western values like Evangelical Christianity
China also has a problem of rampant materialism imported thanks to Deng"s opening up
Deng was smart dude but his one child policy screwed you forever
I want to congratulate you for the post your made here:
Pure poetry and absolute truth.
What do Chinese think of Jews and Israel
Yeah the CCP should have experts on the koshere
But I urge the members here don't take the diaspora Pakistani opinions here about your country seriously
Most of then have no influence in foreign policy and politics which I am sorta glad because we will manage to self destruct ourselves
Have you met Uyghurs or Tibetans
Yes. Tibetans are just darker skinned Hai Chinese. They are also capable of tolerating air with very little oxygen. I didn't venture away from the tourist areas. Otherwise, the Tibetans are just like anybody else.
When I was in Xinjiang it was well after the riots but just a few months before the proliferation of re-education camps. Most of the Uighurs were fine (all of the Hui were friendly) but we also ran into unfriendly locals who thought Han Chinese were invaders or trespassers. I guess with an attitude like that, they would be spending some time getting re-educated.
I fear the Han Chinese who are predominately middle age and senior ladies sponsored by their working age children would piss off the locals in those areas and exacerbate inter-ethnic tensions with their rudeness and ignorance.
Armenia is kinda worthless for the PRC,Azerbaijan and Georgia are better options that could make Turkey end this whole mess
