Taliban have taken their country back. But they must behave on the international arena to get legitimacy. I am sure Pakistan and China can help.
I don't think the world really gives a damn about how they live in Afghanistan anymore.
There's a big gap between an alliance that is built on convenience and a friend. The US was never a friend of Pakistan and it never will be. Their government and people despise Islam and Muslims. Get that through your head.
I hope that the discussions were beneficial. But until the bureaucracy and foreign interference is cleared out in Washington regarding the dynamics of South Asian politics, constructive bilateral ties between Pakistan and the US cannot happen. It'll take a monumental shift for any meaningful...
The American people have guns don't they? Why don't they take out the actual source of their misery (the war arms industry)?
I imagine a lot of them don't have much to lose at this point. Even their veterans.
