It is frustrating to post with 140 character limit. Can you think of another mode?

The flag, the name of the federation and membership in UN, etc would remain unaltered.

That really boiled down to autonomy with foreign and defense remaining with the center.

. However, the mass in BD were definitely not anti-Pak. BD people had voted AL to power on Six Points.

Thanks sir, I would like more info on the role of Jamaat e Islami and the Islamic pro-Pakistan parties at the time. Did their members commit rapes and massacres on mass scale too? If not, what was their stance on these two things (rape and killing) which were happening during the war?

Assalamalaikumm sir, I have been doing research on 1971 tragedy and I am finding your posts very eye opening. I am currently doing research on the rapes topic and I have asked you questions abt it already and even opened a thread on Germaine Greer saying the statistics were exaggerated.

On wikipedia page, it says a fatwa was issued in 1971 that said that Hindu women can be taken as 'booty of war'. So I wanted to ask you about the authenticity of this piece of info on wikipedia. Perhaps you know something about it due to ur presence then. I also want to know abt Jamaat e Islami's alleged role in the war crimes. If you could help me, I will be very grateful sir.

1.I shall be glad to help you with any info known to me.
        2. I am not aware of any fatwa allowing rape of Hindu women. However, it is a fact that Muslim men in SA have always looked at Hindu women as objects of conquest. This is a centuries old phenomenon. Also true of Bengali males.
