I am currently a student at the University of Michigan here in the United States. I am in engeneering school and have a school project I am working on. It concerns Pakistani Railways and recent deals. I was wondering if you could shed some light on the Chinese/Pakistani 500million dollar deal gone wrong. What happened and how come it was eventually awarded to GE? Were there officials on the take in order to award the contract to the Chinese initially and this is why it was taken away from them? Political Lobbying...Any insight on this recent deal would be greatly appreciated!!
