Hey genius, don't forget that I work with these self proclaimed grads of these diploma printing institutes of yours, I've yet to be impressed by a single one of their skill set. They are the IT's equivalent of the cheap Mexican labor that is imported to work on farms; they aren't very smart, not very bright, and about as sharp as a sack of wet mice. But at least they are cheap, obedient and get the job somewhat done albeit half assed. And I've been in IT/software development industry for almost 20 years and hold a very senior level position so I know exactly what I'm talking about.

And mind you, this is not against indians perse. I have and do work with alot of indians who are graduates from American and Canadian universities and they are as good as engineers as any other American. Is just those cheap indian imports that I'm referring to. Even the my American indian coworker are sick and tired of the indian imports' pathetic skillset and quality of work.

Two names .Satya Nadella and Sunder Pichai ,these two names did their UG education in India .And one CET ,the college of Engineering in Trivandrum is not some diploma printing institute .Most of their alumnis are starting their own business and rest of them are much brilliant that they will get job in our prestigious institutions .
So cut that BS .You might have been lead some average guys ,that is your fate .But not all of them are like that.

Just take a wild guess as to why they chose to go to expensive American universities as opposed to far cheaper indian ones! indian degree = no long term future.

No offense even where I work (SAP), a candidate with only an indian degree, even if it's a masters or a phd, even from the self proclaimed top indian institutes, we normally disregard them and don't even bother calling them for interviews for critical senior ana SME positions.

Hate it all you want, but that's the cold harsh ground reality.

I myself did scholarships in América and can tell you right of the top that most indian grads do not get scholarships. Thousands apply, one gets it. So don't let it get to your head. Now I know sitting in india your given the misconception that the global IT industry can't do anything without indians, but take it from someone whose been at the very heart of the global IT industry, your not; indian engineers are very expendible and can easily be replaced with Chinese, Korean, Russian, Brazilian and other south American engineers. It is only your cheap price that keeps you in business. Reality check buddy!
