What is the Best fighter jet for Bangladesh Air force in the future?

1) F-18 Super Hornet
2) Typhoon
3) Rafale
4) Su-35BM
5) J-10B
6) Gripen
7) Mig-35D
8) J-11B
9) F-16 (Block 52)
10) JF-17

Bangladesh will only buy from China, Russia or USA.
For single engine the choice is FC-1/JF-17, J-10 or F-16. Single engine fighter is now best due to our economic and logistical condition.
If double engine, then it will be Su-27/J-11B or Su-30.
Bangladeshi pilots will prefer J-10 rather than JF-17 as single engine and Su-30 rather than J-11B.

1) F-18 Super Hornet -- Noo! waste of precious money. "-3"
2) Typhoon -- too costly "-3"
3) Rafale -- there are better choices you know "+/-"
4) Su-35BM -- excessive "-2"
5) J-10B -- logically sensible "+1"
6) Gripen -- Why? "+/-"
7) Mig-35D -- if you want to ruin your economy that is "-2"
8) J-11B -- yes, but not now "+1"
9) F-16 (Block 52) -- forget it, you'll snatch your own hair after this "-2"
10) JF-17 -- at the present, nothing more saweet than this :"+2"

if you are looking into the future then how long do you want if its 2025 its too far away and lots of things and tech will change if you are looking for immediate future then need to mention how much you are ready to spend and what are your objectives ?

I have read somewhere that Bangladesh Airforce has rejected JF-17 and is vying for J-10 from China. But, again someone was telling that BA has already ordered 20 units of JF-17. can someone tell us what is the reality? By the way, who will be selling JF-17, Pakistan or China? Considering the price and performance of JF-17, it seems this machine is ideal for BA.

the air craft has to get ioc first.....the ones with paf are still prototypes .....so waiting for the aircraft to be fully operational would be more logical than ordering right away!!!

Oh; please learn some facts before shooting your B.S.

Pakistan had started the production of JF-17 back in June 2009.

IOC for JF17 its around end 2009/early 2010

Wiki ( JF-17 Thunder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) says IOC was to be achieved by end 2008

If BA want to go low cost than its Ideal to buy JF-17. And keep a few squadrons of J10. It will be sufficient for Bangladesh.

Hasina is going to meet with Obama next week. There is a possibility that they might discuss about the purchase of aircraft.

According to the latest plan for BAF,we are not going to see new induction before 2021.

So according to that plan,I would like to see Gripen NG.By that time it will have AESA radar and other improvements. And also our economy will be able to buy and maintain them by that time.Gripen NG is said to be least expensive in terms of maintenance comparing to the contemporary fighters.

If we are to buy fighters in near future like 2012,then Jf-17 is the better choice.

I think we need to go for the air defence systems and other air force installations first, improve our logistics and only then it can be decided. That would obviously mean increasing the defence budget and allocation of the BAF.Also would like them to operate satellites and use it for national geo survey.

what bangladesh truly needs is some artillery power, maybe pakistan can help bangladesh with that

as for fighters , the best bet as everyone has mentioned before me is the JF-17, simply because of the low per unit cost & also because of it's low maintainance lifecycle cost
